I think this might be pretty good. 4/5 bundled into something that only costs 2 mana without any restrictions isn't something we've seen before. They've been trying to push the idea of Zoo Priest for a long time now, and Spiteful got there once.
This is also an early game sticky minion for Extra Arms.
I don't get the flavor of this card. Why has a frightened flunky taunt himself? It makes sense, that he discoveres a taunt. But he can't really taunt himself, if he is frightened...
Being a flunky, it's his job to act as a meat shield for whomever he is protecting (the guy that is discovered).
hand buff taunt zoo is coming - thanks RandomGuy =D
This is why they keep me around :-p
EDIT: I initially thought this was a Warrior Class card. Holy shit, neutral! This card is REALLY good. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes one of the most played cards in the set.
It is actually kinda shit for anything but hand buff decks, very slow card that costs you tempo. Maybe it can help with Mountain Giant, so warrior/pally decks can throw those in just cause, if those would be easy to reduce to 4-5 mana consistently, who knows.
it doesn't really cost you that much tempo, just 1/1 stats. But look at all the synergies it has. It does a lot of little things that make it worthy of consideration in a bunch of different types of decks. Tokens for token decks. Card generation for Mountain giant decks and hand buff decks. Deathrattle for deathrattle decks. Beasts for beast decks.
I feel like this is the type of card where you're looking for a 29th and 30th card, and you see this and think, "yeh, that could probably work here."

I can see this starting to come together. It's almost like a taunt zoo...which is a weird phrase to type. I'm not sure how good that is since we haven't really seen anything like it. I'm hoping the Warrior quest isn't taunt related again, but it's looking like it might be.
Also, super noteable is how well buffed taunts work with Bloodsworn Mercenary, or whatever that card was called.
Someone pointed out a cute use on another site: Amalgam with things magnetized to it is still a totem. I don't think that's good enough for this card to be played, but it's kind of neat.
Fair enough! FWIW, if this card was 1-mana, I think it'd be very good instead of basically unplayable. To me, 2 mana feels too expensive for a combo activator that can sometimes double dip. Especially considering we only have 30 cards to play.
This. I think they need to early retire it, because it's the only deck left on ladder.
tbh they could have probably pushed the stats even further on this one.

Opens up some new paths in the old DS/IF decks. A lot of cute things you can do.
Not really sure how the second highest played class in the format isn't relevant...?
These decks fucking suck. They're like 50% cards that cost more than 7 mana
and more relevantly, Warpath.
This card isn't good, but it may have some niche applications.
5 mana for 8 "gauranteed" damage is probably worth considering somewhere.
But probably 1 mana too expensive for meaningful play.

That's typically the placeholder name OOC (formerly HP) gave cards until they had the confirmed name.

I don't exactly know where this fits, but that's good value on a well statted/costed body.
meh. Handbuffing taunts is fine, but there still aren't a great many playable taunts at most mana costs.
Very good card. Midrange Warlock becoming a thing?
That's a legit minion, right there.
Fuck, that’s good
