My collection got messed up again. It looks like whenever I do a JSON import, it's highly likely to add the cards in my collection, instead of replacing my current collection with the results of the import. The result is, if I had a single copy of an epic card in my collection, then when I do the JSON import, it inaccurately shows me as having two copies of that card.
Is this a known issue? Should I make a separate report?
Yes, that is how it works, it ADDS all the cards from JSON import, you need to import only once and then manually change your collection on the site with any future changes. We know, its pretty bad, but thats how it works for now. We are working on a better implementation.
Whatever image hosting site you use, you need to insert a direct link to your image. Usually ends with *.png or *.jpg.
What you usually get by default from those kind of sites are links to said site gallery. If there isnt a way to get the direct url on the site itself, you need to right-click the image in your browser and pick "view image", that should send you to the page with a direct link to your picture, that url you need to use in our text editor when inserting pictures.
I like the overall flavor and as already mentioned the cohesive art style. Some cards are kinda powercreeping a bit (not literally), for example Pandaren Guardian is definitely a better Shieldmaiden.
One thing i dont like, and at this point it is probably too late, is the new keyword. I really dislike keywords that have (x) attribute in them. Yes, there is Overload, but that has a pretty clean UI. You would need to make something like a mechanic icon at the bottom of minions picture, same as for trigger effects and such, and even then having to constantly hover over minions to check how long until the effect triggers, even more pain in the ass for mobile users ... these kind of mechanics are not meant for Hearthstone. I get wanting to add more complexity, but you need to do it in a HS friendly way, this is not it unfortunately.
All that being said, this is still a custom set, so you can do whatever the hell you want and ultimately, the strife i have with that i suppose doesnt matter in this setting, so good luck with finishing your set! Maybe someone will read this and take it to heart when designing their own set in the future so my rumbling is worth something :)
It's a subjective POV, but I feel stretching new exp announcement so late is... Too late. And players might get away from the grip of the game in the meanwhile.
AoO has already exhausted its traction, players need new stuff, even just some reveals to fantasize about, but we need new stuff.
Nerfs can refresh the meta a little bit, but the fact some nerfs are happening on the same classes over and over for the same reasons actually reinforce the impression of overwhelming staleness, instead of dispelling it.
I'm struggling to find motivation to get back to Wild D5 despite 10stars and the fact I absolutely enjoy my homebrew Aggro Reno Paladin.
Anyone else feeling the same?
They still have about a month till the usual August launch, so they r well within their norm with the announcement, but yes, it should come pretty soon id imagine.
Btw, what is Aggro Reno Paladin? How, why?:D I need a decklist!
Also, don't think this entire year is dedicated to Outlands like some people, it just doesn't make sense in the realm of Hearthstone to stay in one general area for an entire year.
Yeah, they did say it wouldnt be another year long story. So the next expansion should be something different. Im very interested to see what it is.
Idk, makes his ice block weaker, but could make him more useful overall?
Does it tho? Discover has always been more powerful and consistent than just drawing from a random pool of cards, albeit relatively small. How does it make it weaker?
Never mind, didnt realize it only offers Mage Secrets now, my bad haha. It could be an interesting change, tho the Discover effect could still be pretty strong.
Very good overall flavor and class mechanics! Looking forward to more!
Sunlight - could probably be 2 mana
Poison Master Sera - haha, i tried to make this exact effect for rogue several times, it seems to fit well in your class
Grow an Oasis - love the overall flavor of this
Reclaim UnGoro - might be too easy of a requirement, hard to say without playtesting
Krank the Towering - i get why you made it, but it does not fit in your class imho, the effect that is
Galakrond's Patience - at first this is kinda underwhelming, but if the class would not have too much other healing cards, this could be an interesting way to focus on more control playstyle with your weapons, since you could just heal up whatever dmg you would take; esp. if you would combine stuff like Sera's Scheme with Man-Eater Tendril, that is a pretty juicy combo right there.
I mean yes, that could have easily been the decision and it would also make sense. That being said, they rather nerf cards than buff them, so making a decision to release cards on a higher power level and see what's what with a commitment to adjust when needed was not a terrible one imho. If they went ahead and released some of those cards in their now nerfed state, i think a lot of ppl would not even give them time of day.
Hard to say for sure what went behind the scenes, but it is the first new class added to the game since the launch, so i think it is a learning experience for everyone.
While i understand where you're coming from, we do not want to create any such obstacle for newcomers, having to "spam" forum just to be able to post a link to the picture you want to share with others? Not a great experience.
We are always working on ways to tackle spambots, reporting them definitely helps. We hope to implement a better system in the future to deal with them better.
Well that's why I suggested that unspent mana reduces the cost of your next hero power instead. The Hero Power is usually pretty insignificant so it wouldn't enable many combos and only really affect Inspire cards.
You might be underestimating what decks would this create, tho it could be very interesting to see :)
Ah, interesting. I'm not very familiar with the RTS, and have never played Warcraft III, but thanks for letting me know. I thought there might be something like that, but I couldn't find anything solid online and opted to play it safe. I'll look into that and possibly edit it in sometime in the future.
Honestly, i dont think Spell Mana would work for Hearthstone, would create HUGE balance issues. There would have to be a whole overhaul, not really worth it, and certainly not something they would be willing to do imho.
Not only that, depending on the pricing, it could be a superior way to buy dust.

They said no year long story this time, so probably not.
TGT 2.0 gogogo! :D
Backchannel Captain has a great HS-like art, might steal it for a custom card one day :D
Ha! This looks like a lot of fun!

You really should change that!

Hear, hear!
I enjoyed our competitions very much, even tho i wasnt as vocal lately, i still voted on every single card. You guys did a damn good job!
