Sorry to hear that, but on the "Submit your card page" it does say that you need to make the card with Hearthcards and then upload it from your computer. We do not have a dedicated system where you can create it on the site as of right now. We could potentially try and make that part more visible, since there is at least one person each week who just uploads a picture and thinks that the submission form is actually a card creator, which is not. We'll see what we can come up with.
The problem is, that the main page did not mention any secret page where the cards should be submitted. I have first (and most likely last) try on card creation and just see my steps:
- I opened this discussion point, where you present the theme, rules (only rule is that this is not a regular competition) and dates.
- Players are posting card images in discussion
- So I posted my submission entry in discussion
How can someone know, that these submissions are not valid and the only way to enter is to find a secret page where the cards should be submitted?
At least you should mention that there is somewhere on a page hidden a link to submission page? I believe, that when you click on the image with the competition name (which I did not know is a clickable object and not just an image) will lead to the secret page. But this is only my guess, as now I found out to my big surprise, it leads to voting page.

Just a suggestion, maybe tag the original card in the text somewhere, so ppl can hover over it for quick reference ;-)
Or you can do like [picture of original] > [picture of suggested change], basically just put the original down somewhere so it is easy to see what was changed without needing to read the wall(s) of text. Nothing against reading that, but you get my point, i hope :) Anyway, keep this up!
Sounds like a combination of few things, what GerritDeMan said, but mainly you probably have the auto-turn-end enabled, and then you didnt have any plays, so it automatically ended your defense turn. You really should turn that off in settings, not only will that give you more time to evaluate your plays, but it wont give away information to your opponent, like in your scenario that you have no plays in that particular moment.
While i was originally against HS history tab showing which card created the one you played because it gave you an advantage when opponent didnt know if it was from your deck or not, it has became a nice QOL feature. And i agree that in Runeterra you should absolutely see whicj cards were stolen, since they are not copies, but the originals. You need to know what was taken from you so you can adjust your play. Not having that information is simply stupid.
I've spend atleast 150 hours in Enter the Gungeon, you should definetly check it out if you like Rogue-lites.

For some reason it won't let me upload more images, but "Coin" would be a token spell that is 1 Mana Burst Speed with the text "Toss 1 to draw 1." I chose Greed as the Sin for the Shadow Isles because SI already has a theme of destroying their own units for power, which seems similar to Greed.
Coins are kinda busted lol. 1-cost burst spell, that removes two cards from your deck and gives you 1? lul, the generation is not that difficult either.

For the competitions, Demon's points stand for now, that does not mean we cant grow the LOR FC community.
You can keep making custom LOR cards yourself and show them to ppl and get them excited ;-)
