Nice stats, thanks for sharing! It is pretty insane how much difference there is going 1st or 2nd. I mean it makes sence, but still.
I havent played all that much sadly, but i can atest to seeing an insane amount of mages and them not being as threatening as one might think. Loosing Flamestrike and Blizzard is a HUGE deal for the class. Iv seen them play semi-consistently only the Volcanic Potion and very rarely Dragon's Fury. Thats about it. It is very effective to go wide against Mages, but i guess it is effective against almost anyone righ now.
I was excited to play a rogue draft, but for the longest time i didnt even get it offered and then got one and it was abysmal, so that was disapointing, but i must say i didnt see many rogues in general. Wonder if it was just my small sample size, or if the class had a bit lower occurance rate thanks to all the card generation and potential to get Hero Cards, which would be "unfun" for your opponent :) But thats probably just me spinning theories :)
Warlock's Hero Power proved to be probably the strongest one, in a curvestone meta, where card draw is very rare, being able to tap for cards and keep the card advantage is very valuable and being able to not feel the downsides of the self-damaging part as much given you have tools from a 2nd class made this all the more powerful.
They have been actually (re)building the lore extensively over the past few years. Redoing the original lore that characters had to one that would tie them all together in a unified universe and timeline. It was pretty random when LoL launched just to give characters some flavor, but wasnt rly thought out in depth much. That is not true today.
I used to make the other Bolvar, Bolvar, Fireblood, deck when i was doing "Play 10 Divine Shield minions" quest :D It was hilarious when it worked lol! Also having 10 Attack Light's Sorrow is a sight to behold!
I love seeing these unused cards have their time to shine :)
Good cards, meh hero powers: Paladin, Warrior, Priest and Hunter
Why: Druid and Shaman
I can atest that WL hero power is really powerful. There is very few card draw options and you easilly run out of steam. Being paired with likes of paladin or priest who also have some healing in their arsenal makes the downside of Life Tap not as big of a deal as when you are just a warlock.
The site is still very young, we are still building up features and stuff, but when this unexpected reveal happened, we decided to jump on the hype train, cause many of us also like to play League of Legends so it was close to our hearts and this is simply something fresh that we thought you guys might like. We still plan on supporting MTGA in the future, dont you worry :)
Oh, sorry about that. I thought you were saying that so much info is overwhelming, so you arent even going to bother trying the game. I totally misunderstood what you meant :)
You can kinda look at this as a Mana Cyclone for hunter. But it is harder to pull off since there is no sorc apprentice. It is not a good card tbh, but you can have some fun with it.
Havent played since day 1, im going to be playing during weekend, but on day 1, there were legendaries everywhere. I dont know if it was just the initial "bump" to get ppl hyped, or if it was a byproduct of removing the power buckets. I guess i will see once i play more games, but on day 1 it was kinda insane.
Agree with Boozor about tempo and most importantly curving out early. As well as not enough removal consistently, so pick it while you can.
Having extensive knowledge about what class has which cards will come in extremely handy so you know which combination to pick, as well as which hero not to pick first, so you dont "waste" your chance on a strong hero power.
Also actually realizing which cards that you were used to see all the time are part of the Basic and Classic set can help you a lot, since now you know they are not a danger to you, and that you cannot rely on them yourself.
It definitely freshens up the experience, thats for sure. Lets see how long will the excitment last :)
it probably depends from where you copy the string of the deck
Copying from Vicious Syndicate gives the error
removing manually the two cards and adding from collection it works
Oh, makes sense. The old strings import "your" copies, which are technically different cards from the event copies. Blizz definitely made everyone's life difficult with how they handled adding these cards. They broke deck trackers and deck strings and everything lol.
In what way doesnt it work?

They better add Caitlyn soon! <3

Looking good!

Any new game can be overwhelming. Just play the game and learn as you go. Thasts how we did it in the past... lol im old.
Important links for Legends of Runeterra to avaiable tools for it on the site. Proper access to these will be added later.
LoL has some pretty good lore and great characters, im interested to see how they incorporate it into a card game.

Right? Must be fun to play that deck :)
Everyone has a fuckin Bonemare, jesus.
Ideally leave heroes with good hero powers for 2nd pick (rogue, mage, paladin, druid) and generally draft for tempo/curve.

Agreed. Or at least let us use our golden copies lol.

Just a quick recap of the new Hero Portraits for anyone who hasnt seen them yet. We will have them implemented properly later.
