An unfortunate collection of post-nerfs and trash...and then some outliers like Acolyte of Pain and the Bulwark of Azzinoth, which are at least "okay" lol
I think I quit the game without leaving the guild or telling anyone, which is usually a big No-No in my book lol :/ It's pretty rude to take up space in a guild while they await the return that's not happening...but I made the guild, so I guess I felt bad for stopping.
Ultimately, I spent way too much to fuel my enjoyment of Warcraft Rumble, and when I finally said "No more!" to that front, it became stale *super* quick. As far as I know they still don't have Raids in. I wanted a new objective to work on, something to engage with the other guild members, and Raids could've been that; instead, it's just one forever "Coming Soon!" message that'll never arrive in time to salvage things. The Seasons are boring with only one new addition every six weeks; if the effort spent unlocking the new mini doesn't align well with the family of the week, you're screwed from improving that new unit for a long-ass time. Not to mention the whole "I picked the wrong passive and thus bricked this unit" bullshit.
Between Hearthstone, Marvel Snap, and Warcraft Rumble as my "log in, do missions/quests, log out" games, Rumble was the clear loser on that front in regards to my interest levels. I barely play the other two as it is, so...yeah. I pruned Rumble from my life so I could play other games without feeling compelled to play something I wasn't enjoying anymore.
Perfect for Deathrattles like Testing Dummy. Botface doesn't seem that great a use-case because, if it goes face, you spent 3-Mana and never got to activate its effect.
I love this card, and will definitely be playing the Mech Warrior package. Fireworker doesn't seem that great to me as a payoff, but Testing Dummy for sure is.
@Pezman Yes it gives you the Mini versions of Miniaturize cards. So something like the Amateur Puppeteer or Tabletop Roleplayer might just be vanilla 1/1s, unfortunately. I really like the Mech Warrior package, but I'm not a super fan of Botface because it is so random. The list isn't terrible, but I prefer consistency.
If Taunt Warrior cannot find a home in Standard, then I'll take this to Wild and be happy. Fire Plume's Heart is still my favorite Quest, so the more the merrier when it comes to support! Imagine Sing-Along Buddy with that deck :D
The fact that you can now double-up on Auras in the battlefield could allow you to churn out a bunch of stuff much faster - you don't have to wait six turns or whatever for the full value to have come into fruition. Playing an Aura, waiting it out, then playing the other copy took an incredibly long time, so maybe cheating both of these out is a line worth exploring?
Should've cost 3-Mana. "But then it would be power-crept Combustion!" Well...yeah. That's where we are now. Plus Outcast hasn't gotten that much easier to trigger, so the bonus Lifesteal is kept in check already.
Could be incredible if Pirate Rogue gets more support in the second expansion; not impossible, given the hint of beach flavor we were given. As of right now, though, I just don't think it gets there...which could be said of the whole package.
I wonder if the effect is too late in the game - if your opponent has 5/5s or something, then the 3 damage isn't going to help. I certainly wouldn't want to pay the full price for him.
Makes an article about circles and balls, doesn't include Katamari Damacy smh

Congrats to the winners! :D

I can totally recommend Marvel's Midnight Suns to people who like strategy games, Marvel games, or preferably both!
I made a mistake for science, just to see what would happen. Yeah...
Gnomelia, S.A.F.E. Pilot seems really good, but the others are not that great.

Fun card, and it doesn't have "then they die" on it! Send 'em face, and you've got fresh minions on the board.
I'm not high on Fireworker, but Testing Dummy will definitely be in my revive pool. Still have to think about the most optimal Zilliax Deluxe 3000.
It's Pit Lord, but for 1-Mana less. That card is ancient, and this isn't that much better; I'll pass on this one.

Combining this with the Boom Wrench will probably be my favorite play of the expansion.

I imagine it'll be used in some kind of wonky combo, but outside of that I don't expect Jepetto to be seen in a game that often.
I don't believe The Galactic Projection Orb will replay them at a lower slot, but still quite good if that's how you want to build your deck.
