You can... run this in targon with Out Of The Way to have your own 2 mana awkward to target Unyielding Spirit... but why wouly you play it that clunky to just save some mana? I guess it's the typical LoR epic to go...
I mean it is kinda House Spider for the region with the biggest amount of sacrifice/death triggers and that alone makes it potent but idk... I don't like it
There is most likely going to be a deck where this card does absurdly powerful things ... sac units with drawback to fuel other engines has often enough been good in other cardgames so I guess this one will do so aswell
This is pretty scary with cards like Duskrider or Doombeast where you could give a huge chunk of attack with spells that are burst, redraw themselves and costs only 2? I would not be surprised if this card would see t1 deck play...
Overall the economical aspects of the development got stressed a lot. Is LoR doing bad right now? Does the development get pushed to become more profitable? It kinda sounds like it and if that means that LoR is not profitable enough right now we have a concerning future for LoR to come... like the only way to make more money is build in more paywalls (cosmetics on their own apparently won't make it) which might mean a less generous card reward System paired with more pushed Releases to price the current flavour of the month.
I know this is really negative and that rubin did not say anything of that directly but if economical aspects get stressed it rarely is because a game goes too well...
So silence deals the 4 damage to kill anivia in the first place? Like... you go 2 for 1 no matter if you kill the egg with Hush or Death's Hand.
Sure, you can say that a card being op against 1 archetype but bad against others doesn't make it fair, especially if you are the one playing it but can ANYONE say that The Undying is too good on the broad scale? I might have been missing something but I haven't see The Undying being everywhere or take over the meta ever.
Take it for what it is: a niche tech card for control metas it's not more but also not less.
And for the argument that the other champions die to other removal aswell: other removal tends to not be 3 mana burst speed turn the unit useless and make it easy to kill this turn (especially if you are on the blocks)
Stunning a unit at fast speed costs about 3 mana and it's less devestating... just saying
I might be blind but how is it ever necessary to run silence against Anivia? The egg has literally 1 health so all you effectively do with hush is deal 1 damage at burst speed...
The Undying however is and will always be the most polarizing card in LoR. The The Undying archetype is plain terrible against aggro and midrange but beats control quite well. The card doesn't need silence to be fair, it's fair on it's own.
Also does silence most likely not stop The Undying because it gets replicated at burst speed.
I have to disagree: unlike withering wail this spell does not: A: break all barriers from the opponent's units and B hinder 1 health units from getting their damage through (if it should be more than 2). It kinda compares to withering wail, yet I can't say which one is better
This is... not that good I think. Unless we let a 5+ attack lifesteal unit attack with it it won't be that impressive and getting such a unit... Nah this is way too timmy for me
THIS is a premium 1 drop. Like... just 1 slay trigger and this is already a better Precious Pet and in the right (SI) build this is a really dangerous unit
Now this is a really strong aggro/ midrange card. While the condition is not always that easy to do it is still very doable and rewards you very well. Especially in SI decks this will certainly be a staple

No this is not Glimpse Beyond 2.0 no this in not even close powerlevelwise. Yet it is a slow speed sac outlet on a 4 mana 4/1 which is okay
Okay serious question: Why run this when there is Crumble... right! U don't outside of expeditions...
This is... quite mediocre to be honest.

2 is expansive for such a trick however if you need life this is proably a go to source of life so it might see some play

The article was pretty underwhelming in it's indirect statements Steve made:
1. Level up animations, voice interactions and any visual improvents for older content won't be free and sold as a part of skins)
2. They are pushed when it comes to champion releases so they release champions rather op to tune them down later> borderline active powercreep
3. they prefer releasing new content over adjusting existant content-> against customers who don't want to constantly play the newest expansion.
4. Katarina is old content so stop asking for buffs already!
5. they want to make Interface improvents. Since the interface is already very good and this won't improve the game by a lot

Better examples of cards that get wrecked by silence are lvl 1 Vi, Fiora Tryndamere Riven Taric...

A slow, and big pile of raw stats which is an execellent iteration of Nasus... if only card concept was good...

it's a solid card, not more not less I think...
Timmies love these cards. I am not a timmy... so I don't care about gimmicy 8 mana winconditions
This will 99% sure be played in SI decks, it is a literally free tutor with the only downside being that you can't use it in response.
i don't know the exact deck this goes into but some Kalista list might be interested
kill a follower or ticle a champion... interesting spell concept but overally too pricy I think
