  • seeing this card explains why riot wanted to nerf scouts.

Like... it is a single combat at slow speed that triggers attack abilities such like cythria, Miss Fortune, Quinn and while the wording is unclear I think this actually lets you attack with other units aswell...

  • His concept is neat but 6 mana? Well he can challenge an ascended Renekton at this point... and die

  • 2/2 that creates a decent spell for 1? This kind of card is meta defining so elites will be a thing apprarently...

  • How bad is this card?

Well it's worse than Radiant Strike...

How many decks play that card right now?

    Right...

    none!

So what is the point of this card again other than nerfing Demacia's expedition performance?

  • Demacian General: When do we start our attack Prince Jarvan?

    JarvanIV: Yes!

  • It's not better than Hush buddy it is only better than Hush right now because Hush shaped the meta into what it is.  It will be a staple for shurima decks but overall I think this cards is fine and fair

I actually had an idea for reworking Heimerdinger to cost 3 but at level 1 his Turrets are Ephemeral (and his level up condition is reduced to 9). It would allow him to start affecting the board a little earlier while not making him too powerful (and it makes the level-up relevant).

hmm ephemeral turrets make not that much sense imo (from a logical standpoint i mean)...

Also I think 5 is the right mana cost for value engines like Heimerdinger.

He has prooven to be good before the nerfs so the nerfs were what made him unplayable not the changing meta

I think this expansion is going to be great! Can't wait to see how they (hopefully) incorporate Nasus' stacking into his card!

I think nasus is going to be a 5 mana 4/6 overwhelm with: if a spell would deal damage, it drains that much instead. Level up: you drained 8 life. When leveled up nasus gets +x/+x until round end whenever you drain where X is the amount drained.

His signature spell is: siphoning strike : 2 mana fast deal 1 damage to a unit, if a unit dies this way, add a copy of siphoning strike to your hand and copies of siphoning strike everyehere deal 1 additional damage.

  • rearguard unnerf inc!

  • Now this is Ramp... hate? But ramp decks don't even care... What is this even good for? Its so niche that it is worthless to maindeck... unless we now can sacrifize mana crystals

  • If focus means noncombat burst speed, then this card is an actually playable version of Caught in the Cold... Speaking of Caught in the Cold how about buffing this card to 1 mana?

I think that focus is burst speed that cant be played in combat or in reaction, like gems or Riven's blade fragments.

Now we only need to update Hush's description to focus aswell^^

  • Strong, quite vanilla and flexible in it's use... I call it decent.

  • THIS is how Hush should have been in the first place. Strong and disruptive but without open end on damage caused and not shutting down literallly ALL abilities

  • 1 and 7 are admittedly unituitive but both aim at creating turrets with 1 additional health in their way (because barrier turrets usually get chumblocked) and 1/2 turrets are just slighly better than 1/1 turrets.

And you are right: Heimerdinger keeps his weaknesses but performs overall better which is the idea of a good buff imo:  make an archetype better but keep it's weaknesses so it can exist in a meta without getting overbearing.

  • I think someone who really could need a buff is Heimerdinger. Like this guy just disappeared after his nerf completely and while shifting keywords again will help the champion a lot, I think that his competition became that much stronger, that even an unnerfed heimerdinger would be fair.

But unnerfing would just create an old elusive archetype once again and I don't think the community welcomes an strong elusive deck so I would instead change his keyword distribution in a way it makes sense and is interactive:

0 mana turret still 0/1 challenger

1 mana turret 1/2 ->still terrible but hey +1 health to not instantly dies to aoe removal

2 mana turret 2/1 fearsome -> because we know fearsome is best on small critters

3 mana turret  3/1 tough -> 3 mana is the go to turret spawned by heimerdinger so why wouldn't it be the turrets that he builds in League right? Makes heimer also less vulnerable to aoe)

4 mana turret 4/1 Quick Attack ->4 attack is as hard to block as 5 attack but easier to generate

5 mana turret 5/1 elsusive -> hard to generate but dangerous

6 mana turret 6/1 overwhelm -> bad but capable of dealing damage

7 mana turret 7/1 barrier + fury -> just less terrible as the current one but still bad

8 mana turret 8/8 -> because it works right?

Also make his level up: "when I level up grant all technology units +1/+1 everywhere" but remove his ability that gives created turrets +1/+1

  • NOXUS WILL RI... ASCEND!

  • This is crazy strong and proably will boost many aggro decks by a lot (if shurima can support aggro well enough) . Leveling champions like Lulu Taric Draven Riven Kalistaetc is really easy and now very deadly with this card...

  • A stall promoting landmark that most likely wins you the lategame but at the same time removes a large portion of you deckbuilding options... on a landmark that has it's deck fall apart on the spot if the opponen has landmark removal -> forcing landmark removal artificially into the meta if it should be a decent archetype? Now that is a great way to promote new content AND boring gameplay. Who would not love this card concept?

  • Nobody talked about killing targon. Targon can be viable even without silence. Its in the end just a number game, nerf silence into the ground but buff guiding touch to 3 heal? Revert the pale cascade nerf (although that was 100% justified ) giving the region a less toxic identity would be cool tho. In the end I just don't want to play a game where pretty much every deck plays a ton of etb units because beefy/static effect units are worthless.

If silence and spellshield effects were the only reasons for players to run targon that would be kinda sad...
