This is really strong for 2 mana... i mean progress taliah 1 deploy a 3/1 and give the next enemy unit vulnerable permanently? Very Strong card for Renekton and Taliyah decks
This is a borderline op card. Like... give the next 2 enemy units summoned vulnerable draw 1 and progress taliah 2?! I have the feeling that Taliyah will almost always be leveled on turn 5 and given how big of a deal that is for shurima... yeah that card and Taliah will proably a central part for strategies of shurima decks.
A landmark removal that also give you a body, looks solid to me.
2/4 for 4 is not that impressive. However she still resembles the best landmark removal we have seen so far because she actually works for the deck she is played in, unlike the majority of landmark removals that just suck when you have to use them in non landmark matchups
Summoning 5 landsmarks is easy with shurima adding landmarks with countdown (kinda delayed spells) also it actually asks you to summon 4 landmarks since taliah spawns 1 of them on etb. Her leveled up ability is strong and so far we only have to se if her attack ability also procs when she has no blockers.
I think her archetype will struggle versus aggro but let control have a hard time.? Let's see if she works out
Its elixir of wrath with+1 on health so it's worth 2 mana (given Sharpened Resolve is 3 mana) it makes Radiant Strike cry in a corner but I don't see this card being op tbh...
Yes spell shield is fair in its current form because it is an untargeted counterspell for the next spell for 3.5 mana at burst speed and which gets negated by adding any additional removal on the stack.
Spellshield units like Fused Firebrand however often aren't understatted enough to balance out the Spellshield making them op versus spell based strategies (what is the point but might be tuned down in future).
Claiming that Spellshield is worse than barrier is absolutely nonsens in constructed and thankfully riot agrees on that. I was really surprised when Bastion was made permanent for no good reason other than pushing targon
For me it is Silence (and you know it because I nonstop complain about it)
Silence at burst speed is just really toxic imo and although nerfing Hush (once again) helped somewhat it still did not fix the actual issue with Silence: it is too flexible.
The only way to play around it is as you already brought it up with your braum example to not play any go big archetype, do not rely on effects and play only the most robust and card indepedant archetypes. It is certainly possible to play this kind of deck but those aren't my style at all. I love fancy offmeta builds that crush the meta because the opponent is not ready for them.
But with Silence he is kinda always ready for it no matter what you come up with.
It's a little bit like oko from mtg who ended up getting banned in every format of mtg because he was a 3 mana planeswalker (kinda like an attackable landmark) that got a health every turn by turning any creature or artifact (landmark) into an 3/3 elk.
Now while this is way more pushed than Hush we also have to see that mtg is on a whole different powerlevel.
What I want to say is that effects like silence get banned even in mtg. So riot maybe should think hard if they want to keep it in their game in it's current form.
Its's an insane 1 mana play to predict and get a 2/2 although having to wait 2 turn makes the 2/2 an aspect of the card worthless later in the game so you end up with a 1 mana landmark predicting once... what is still not bad for a 1drop in the lategame... definetely going to see play
Given that predict is kinda like scry 3 from mtg and given that scry 2 is considered as valuable as drawing a card... this card is powerful, very powerful actually
This card is as strong as it is a gamble. And its insanely strong. Yes you can "miss" with her quite easily by never drawing the cards buffed but imagine you draw/ tutor the buffed unit on the very next turn? Classic 7/7 base-statline renekton?... ouch!
This card is so unreliable but possibly game breaking... Its quite the opposite of fun and tame card design and I think we will see this card nerfed very soon...
The prefect cards for those who want to stay in Iron. Slow, unreliably and not more than fancy when it goes off and no, we wont see a deck with Counterfeit Copies making this work
At first I have misread the card so it doubles the effect of a countdown landmark if it doesn't get destroyed in reaction... now this can be strong if we have really insane countdown abilities but so far the wasn't any aside of the sundisk which wins the game on activation more or less anyways... Overall this card looks super clunky and not worth it to play...
The typical garbage epic as we already seen them so often in LoR
Carddraw that cheap is crazy... like draw 2 for 2 already went wrong with Deep Meditation and this is more or less the same concept without the 2 spell condition but with a short delay...
I think the way it is worded it loses it's ability after it got it's first barrier. While that doesn't change the fact that this card is really good it doesn't let you create a pseudo Braum by granting this dude challenger
It's Relentless Pursuit with small upside but +1 manacost and which is interruptable by killing the target?
Its hard to believe that this card sees serious play outside of expeditions
Edit: I actually overlooked the ability to combine this card with Taric allowing you to attack 2 additional times... so reevaluated i'd say this card is meh outside of taric but insane in taric decks

Yay we finally got Zhonyas... and it's really good but not op by any means

A 3 mana 4/4? Well Loyal Badgerbear already shown us that this is nothing to joke about. It might form a decent midrange deck for shurima

This card is most likely going to be competetive.
Yes. Vulnerable says: allows any unit that your opponent controls to CHALLENGE this unit
A big play... that comes right at the point that you see your nexus explode... too bad it doesn't help you anymore at this point

1 mana discount on Vanguard cavaleryBADCARDNAME might not look like much but I assure you that it is.
This card will most likely see a lot of play if elites are any good ... what I guess they will
