I used to play a Metamorphosis combo all the time. Loved it! I hadn’t tried it with Sing-Along Buddy. Figured it’d use both charges in one shot, but that interaction is great!

"I spend time thinking on my turns, will I lose XP?" No. This only affects extreme cases where someone is completely inactive for whole turns.
So if you rope out an entire turn, sure. But if you take actions during your turn, no. You shouldn't be affected. Ultimately this seems like it only combats bots that do nothing, and maybe the bots that would hero power and rope out every turn.
I don't really play a lot of BGs, but if people are idle botting there to try and get XP for doing nothing, this measure would also combat bots like that.
I was thinking, the pack symbol is surely a HS swirl, but it looks kind of like a Horde emblem. Reminded me of Forged in the Barrens. Could some old characters from that year return in this set? Maybe going on a vacation together with some hopes of treasure hunting while there?!
The one thing I really don’t like as a player whose favorite card is [Hearthstone Card (C’thun) Not Found], his deck is really bad! Too slow and not able to respond to multiple wide boards unless you somehow maintain a wide board yourself.
That and the C’thun added to your hand is skipped over by the cosmetics check. So… Blizzard is selling Signature C’Thun in a bundle under the Twist tab in their shop, yet players who buy it won’t get to see a Signature C’Thun in their starting hand ever… I got mine a while back from CoT packs, so I’m good! But if anyone buys that bundle wanting to use the sig version in this Twist format… I hope they yell at the devs for the error.
As someone who likes Twist, the details laid out regarding the rest of the year don't make me too excited for the mode. June and July could be fun, but if all we get after that is two more months of Wonders... *sigh*
If that's the case, they should at the very least add Knights of the Frozen Throne and then Kobolds & Catacombs in the second month of it. They could also pre-emptively ban more cards to try and restrict power levels like they did for the Caverns quest when adding Un'Goro to Wonders. That's honestly what I'd love Twist to be. Have some special months like June and July, then during the other months you can just do things similar to the Brawl Block tavern brawls. And come up with more variations on the blocks, then rotate through those while occasionally creating new blocks.
That said, the months that Twist has been down I've automatically been getting the D5 chest once I hit five wins on the season because my Twist rank has been locked there ever since the last live season ended. So for months where I'm feeling lazy I already know I can get at least that chest with minimal effort.
Yeah, this definitely feels like more of a month long Tavern Brawl. On one hand, having the decks be pre-built might bring in more people because they aren't limited by their collection. Except of course they still are somewhat limited if they tend to dust their Wild cards and don't own 13 of the 19 options. So unless one of the free options is the most busted deck in the format, the majority of players may still avoid the mode.
This month could also be compared to a Duels Lite, where you get a passive, some crazy cards (probably) but the decks are always predictable based on the hero you choose.
I feel ike if they don't just revert to the old system they are going to need a big overhaul. A few people have suggested doing tiered weekly quests. Get xp for 5 wins, then more xp for 10 wins, and could do another xp reward for 15 wins. Rewards the more dedicated players while still allowing the more casual players to get their usual 5 win XP goal. Some kind of tiered quest system like that for weekly quests would be nice in my opinion.
I understand how the card rotation and various versions work. But when I made the deck I made the deck in the client AFTER rotation, and then copied the code to this site. So the version it would have linked from the start was the Legacy version after it rotated out of Core. if there is a problem, it's not on my end. Talk to the guys who manage the site.
But I really want the Demonic Illidan skin, and still need 270 DH wins. There's no way I can play that many games before the 16th! I have a job and a family!
But seriously, the deck is nuts! The low number of demons for Window Shopper to discover makes it way to consistent. Could have it set the discovered demon to the same stats and reduce cost of it rather than setting to the same cost as the Shopper. Or maybe just discover a demon, reduce the cost by (x). That way you aren't getting things like (3) 6/5 or (1) 1/1 Mags, but could also avoid getting useless things like (1) 1/1 Mythical Terror or Illidari Inquisitor.
Would that be too harsh though? Maybe. Grasp could either go up in mana or only reduce cost by 1. Maybe just lose the cost reduction period! We shall see.
Curious to see if any other cards get hit, like Ball Hog.
That all depends on your rank I'm sure. Probably not facing much if any of the bots I was seeing if you are sitting in Legend. I never really push for anything more than Diamond ranks because I want to play more than what the meta says I can.
I kept seeing people on other forums complain about the massive amounts of Mech Rogue bots and hadn't seen any myself. Then I suddenly I had multiple days of nothing but Mech Rogues or decks from random classes running nothing but basic cards from starter decks. The starter decks roped every. Single. Turn...
For the most part EZ wins, but annoying and boring. I guess they had won enough games against each other to climb into upper Plat, lower Diamond MMR matches where the fun loving off-meta players like me tend to live!

Depending on how long they want to tease the mini set it might be about right for a reveal after the Brawl.
