Does anyone know if the beast pool of [card]Deathstalker Rexxar[/card] still gets updated every expansion? I believe they mentioned they would stop doing so.

Arena: [card]Maiev Shadowsong[/card] is better in most cases as the 1/4 body of [card]Najak Hexxen[/card] isn't much of a threat and can easily be dealt with. Best use case for this is to steal a taunt minion so your Najak Hexxen is protected behind it or a deathrattle minion you can kill off yourself in the same turn.

Constructed: …

Arena: Considering that you have significantly more neutrals in your deck than in your average constructed deck and considering that neutrals are generally weaker than class cards, this is more than just a meme in arena. The synergy among those random minions isn't always there, but the same goes for arena in general, and the 2 mana discount on the …

Arena: [card]Frozen Buckler[/card] is almost certainly never the correct pick in your drafts unless you somehow have amazing synergy with armor or Frost spells something among those lines.

Constructed: Slightly more likely that said amazing synergy comes together in a constructed deck, but I highly doubt it. I'm not even sure if this is better than [card]Bring It On![/card].

Arena: An understatted 3-drop with a questionable upside? No, thanks!

Constructed: I feel like this will be more often used to pull a specific card from your deck than it will be used to kill of a specific deathrattle. However, they're not mutually exclusive so if you can do both at the same time [card]Sacrificial Summoner[/card] is suddenly the …

Arena: Probably not draftable, otherwise yeah absolutely, draft this! What are you waiting for?

Constructed: The hero power is great of course, but the turn [card]Bru'kan of the Elements[/card] comes into play he doesn't do a whole lot to be honest. Not for 8 mana and definitely not when you compare him with [card]Shadowcrafter Scabbs[/card] or [card]Lightforged Cariel[/card] defense …

Arena: Unless you're willing to wait for a while with attacking, which thanks to the stealth is a perfectly reasonable thing to do, this effect is probably going to whiff. So, unless you have some good deathrattles in your deck, this isn't very good.

Constructed: Such a synergistic card! This has got to see play somewhere, whether that's in …

Arena: At its worst [card]Undying Disciple[/card] is a 6/7 taunt that only deals 3 damage when going face and would be quite alright. Due to your opponent getting to decide how he wants to trade into this, it isn't always going to be much more than that, but I imagine it's still annoying to face.

Wild: Long gone are …

Arena: [card]Spirit Lash[/card] was perfectly playable and this is straight-up better in many use cases. 1 mana cheaper and you'd prefer to buff the health of one of your minions instead of healing your hero. The downside of this card is that you need a minion of your own on board to pull off this [card]Whirlwind[/card] but since this only …

Arena: Face damage is not as important as controlling the board, meaning that even [card]Light's Justice[/card] without any text is stronger most of the time.

Constructed: This would probably fit best in Token DH as all the tokens can help trigger this honourable kill. At the same time you want to buff the attack as much as possible such …

Arena: Takes too long in most games to really benefit from the discount. However, at some point this is still playable for relatively cheap, so definitely decent.

Constructed: I'm not convinced Token DH is going to be any good and that is the main deck [card]Ur'zul Giant[/card] would fit in.

Arena: 3/3 is understatted and the deathrattle can feel awkward in so many ways. Playable, but nothing more than that.

Constructed: If a deck pops up that really cares about freeze effects [card]Popsicooler[/card] could be in there, but I can't see it get played anywhere else.

Love the flavour of this card!

Arena: Great card in control decks, less useful if you expect to have more board presence than your opponents.

Constructed: Obviously goes into Freeze Shaman and I give [card]Snowball Fight![/card] a slight maybe to see play in other slower decks, but is probably not consistent enough.

Arena: No, just no!

Constructed: Why would you want to play this? [card]Moonlit Guidance[/card], [card]Guess the Weight[/card], [card]Living Seed (Rank 1)[/card], [card]Juicy Psychmelon[/card] and more all look similar and better. If [card]Capture Coldtooth Mine[/card] sees play it's for a very specific use case.

Constructed: It's a [card]Savage Roar[/card] that costs one less and gives one less attack, but lasts 2 turns longer. Savage Roar was sometimes used as a board clear, but most of the times functioned as a finisher. I feel like [card]Field of Strife[/card] should be used as both at the same time. It's a board clear in the first turn(s) …

Arena: Super duper busted! Pick this every chance you get (if draftable).

Constructed: Opposed to [card]Bloodreaver Gul'dan[/card], [card]Dreadlich Tamsin[/card] is more suited for midrange or combo decks. I expect/hope any entirely new archetype will be born out of this and [card]Tamsin's Phylactery[/card] whether that's in Wild or Standard.

4 years, 3 months ago · on New Warlock Hero - Dreadlich Tamsin

Arena: [card]Vanish[/card] wasn't great because it was anti-tempo in a class that is all about tempo, but [card]Shadowcrafter Scabbs[/card] summons 2 4/2 stealthed bodies afterward. That drastically makes up for the tempo loss.

Wild: Don't know if this replaces [card]Valeera the Hollow[/card] in Mill decks, but this new hero definitely has a place in there. Other decks might be …

Arena: [card]Pyros[/card] is back! Don't underestimate [card]Build a Snowman[/card]. Pyros is still a good card and this is even better.

Constructed: [card]Build a Snowbrute[/card] and especially [card]Build a Snowgre[/card] are unplayable on their own so this would need cards like [card]Clumsy Courier[/card] to see any play. Are we finally going to be able to play Big Spell Mage?

4 years, 3 months ago · on New Mage Spell - Build a Snowman

Arena: You likely want to play this as a [card]Soul of the Forest[/card] type of card with whatever deathrattle you have available. Don't aim for the moon with this one.

Constructed: Different angles are possible with [card]Tamsin's Phylactery[/card]. In Wild, it can slot into the already existing [card text="Reno"]Reno Jackson[/card] and [card text="Cube"]Carnivorous Cube[/card] lists, but I feel like …

Arena: Trash unless you have already drafted a couple frost spells.

Constructed: Probably garbage, but as of now it's too soon to tell. If I'm opening this in a pack I'm still going to try this in Wild alongside [card]Moorabi[/card]. It'll probably suck, but that won't stop me.
