  • because if it wasn't random it wouldn't be able to rank up.

  • 0-mana spells are always going to be a thing for spell heavy classes. Probably also one of the few Ranked spells that's perfectly playable at rank 1

  • more like rank 2. Druid is good at ramping, but they don't usually get to 10 that fast.

The only reason to judge this for the 10-mana cost would be for a specific combo that it enables.

    If we're going for a ramp/midrange deck this is effectively a 0-mana draw 1

  • This proves that there is an alternate timeline in which Freeze Shaman became the number one deck in the meta and traumatized the playerbase for generations to come

  • Considering that Druids are the best at ramping to 10 (or at least 5) this is actually pretty strong as a set up for later turns.

Don't forget thatMenagerie Warden is in the core set for just 5-mana. You can do some crazy tempo plays with  that

  • Probably one of the strongest Hunter cards in a long time.

You can do a lot with this very early on

Also a suitable replacement for Unleash + Hyena

  • for those pointing out that Hunter doesn't have 0-mana spells....yes...that'S why this costs 2-mana and isn't a Druid card

  • Reminds me to much of Kel'idan the Breaker....a card that barely even worked with Plot Twist.

Obviously you can Shadowstep this for bonus damage and maybe that will be necessary because we need a replacement for Eviscerate, but out of all the things in the game, cards that rely on being drawn at a specific point rarely see play.

Then again, maybe we get more copy and clone shenanigans and then this just makes ssense.

  • Considering that both Bloodlust and Warleader are gone you probably need this to even be able to finish off opponents in token decks.

+2/+2 is no joke, all we need is a decent way to fill the board with Murlocs

  • Probably nice if you get it randomly from discover effects or something similar, but I don't think anyone would put this in their deck.

  • I mean I like it, but what does it actually do that makes it worth running?

At best you can get Hunter or Warlock in aggro Rogue, or ocasionally Warrior and Priest to heal up, but there is 0 hero power synergy in Rogue...and if there was it would have to be pretty nuts to justify running with just one support card.

  • I mean it wouldn't be a real reveal season if things didn't constantly go wrong, would it?

  • I really hope he shows up as well, but maybe he's reserved for the other expansions of this year.

  • Quote From AmigoGP

We could see this nerf so that the cards cost 1 at least .Im very scared for otk warlock  ,but man warlock looking good after rotation and new core set and these new cards

I mean they future proofed it by virtue of making it unable to copy 0-cost spells.

By upping that cost to (1) would mean you could infinitely cycle the same spell as long as this alive which would be absurd.

The only way this becomes unbalanced is if we get some crazy damage boost for Shadow Spell that Wild can abuse (if they even change the Wild spells for Spell schools)

  • of course it's better.

The whole problem with Handbuff in Gadgetzan was the fact that you needed to actually have cards in hand to use, which means you had to spend the early game doing nothing and accumulating cards to buff.

This makes it so it's irrelevant whether you actually have something to buff in hand because you'll just draw into it later anyways.

It's basically Keleseth, but better if you get on the board early

  • This is pretty fantastic. Competitive stats for its cost, synergizes with the legendary, and if Libram of Wisdom counts as a Holy spell (which it might not since it is essentially just a book) then it's completely bonkers.

Great for swing turns with Broom too.

  • All hail the Zombie Waifu, may her value carry us to victory

  • This is a bit difficult to evaluate.

On one hand a 4-mana Dargonfire Potion is absurdly good for any control deck. This basically allows you to shut down any minion based deck early on.

Self-milling on the other hand is pretty terrible and should be avoided if possible. Sure, there's the option to just use this and not actually kill anything and then finish the board with another spell (School Spirits for instance), but that just seems like a pipe dream.

Overall this could still work simply due to the fact that Tickatus exists and more than makes up for the self mill...but if you end up discarding Tickatus you're giga-fucked.

It also disincentivizes developing anything on the board on your side, which is a pretty big downside, even for a control deck

  • Now that is a proper handbuff card....in that it no longer is limited to the hand and therefore allowed to be actually good regardless of how much draw you have.

Basically this is a tiny version of Survival of the Fittest...and that card is crazy good.

With the legendary that reduces thee cost of Holy spells and the Spirit Healer this can do some insane things, even though you probably need to combo it with a Libram deck to get access to Justice for the boardclears
