Aggro Rogue just has way too much burst, but it's occasionally beatable (but if it gets a good start you can do fuckall to stop it).
As someone who played mostly Token Druid last month, I can assure you that Aggro Rogue is very beatable.
However, I’m someone who’s playing mostly no Hearthstone this month, and I blame that on how boring the current builds of Token Druid are.
Oh no, I know precisel how stupid Token Druid is (and I suspect Gibberling will get the nerfhammer eventually), but I stopped trying to abuse that deck when I had a full board of 2/2s on turn 2 and a Whirlkick Rogue managed to, I shit you not, clear all but 2 of them. At turn 3. with like one minion on the board. Mostly through randomly generated stuff.
Whirlkick Rogue literally has no weaknesses. It never runs out of ressources, has burst, has pressure and you need be constantly on guard to deal with Edwin/Adventurer. That deck is disgustingly op.

Also, way ahead of ya, I pulled off full Cannon combo back in Rumble in Standard using Kingsbane + Dread Corsairs and smol pirates to double Cannon Barrage in one turn with Prep.
presumably Tuesday will be the day they kick off reveal season with some sort of stream. (or maybe they just drop a bunch of cards with a video, who knows)
They took away a ton of Warrior's best card draw/cycle tools (and all of their bad cycle tools too). Control Warrior's consistency with getting cards like Brawl was a bit part of the problem with the card. Its overall powerlevel has remained the same, but we can probably expect Control Warrior to have it in their hand less often, making it a more reasonable inclusion.
I don't think that will be the case. They explicitly said there will be more card draw this year and the removal of all the core draw will probably be compensated for.
I really don't get why they wouldn't just finally shelve Brawl.
It's even more confusing when you consider their heavy focus on class identity, which Brawl completely breaks.
Literally every single piece of Warrior removal is conditional. Whether it involves having armor or the minions being damaged, they never get a 1-part-clear-all (unless you count stuff like Whirlwind or Warpath)
All previously released Warrior boardclears (Deadly Arsenal, Plague of Wrath, Reckless Flurry) were either completely eclipsed by Brawl or saw minor play in decks that specifically supported them...but always alongside Brawl.
Brawl is just way too good to ever be replaced by anything else which makes facing control warrior extrremely boring.
NOt only that but the inherent RNG makes it so unbelievably frustrating for both sides. I'm almost convinced the card is rigged to always give either the best or worst possible outcome, but never anything inbetween.
I've said it once and I'll say it again, make it so the minion with the highest attack always survives. That way board centric decks that aren't pure swarm can play around it and Warrior can't just jam a 1-drop and wipe a full board of 6/6s because RNGesus.
So after thinking about this for quite some time (and reconsidering a lot of previous assumptions due to core set changes) I've realized that this might possibly be an absolute monster of a swing card in Control Priest.
The reason being that Control Priest, at this point, is comprised of mostly spells (with C'thun as a finisher) and usually only running a few minions to be drawn by Insight as well as Palm Reading to discount spells in hand. So with this in mind it is not entirely unlikely to be able to get out Samuro + Apotheosis consistently and for an adequate cost, which is effectively Reno + Hellfire and most likely game over against any aggro deck (which becomes even better considering the removal of most burst options and the resulting reliance on minion damage for these decks).
So yeah, if C'thun is a good enough win condition for Priest then Samuro will make sure you won't lose to any aggressive deck
OTK DH isn't a "snoozefest" it's just broken and pros agree.
It is a snoozefest because I have to watch him draw 3 cards per turn while I send everything face and hope he runs out of lifesteal before I run out of cards
I am very confused why they are taking this long to kick off the reveals. Usually reveal season lasts at least 2 weeks leaving at least a week between the final reveal and the expansion release to have space for theorycrafting and the pre-release events.
If the expansions drops on the 23rd and we are epecting the reveals to start on the 9th, that means we have just exactly 14 days for all the reveals, which means there'll be even more per day than usual?
I mean, I prefer not having a huge gap between reveals and release because it just makes the current meta feel even worse, but at this point it's getting a bit cramped
In Darkmoon it was literally done in 2 weeks. I think we were seeing somewhere around 10 card reveals per day then, there being 1 or 2 days between the final reveal and release date. Maybe this is the new norm, like the earlier release dates (the first expansion used to be released the first week of April)
Could be. Still not entirely sure why they would do it this way, but maybe arranging card reveals and such is more difficult these days.

pretty sure he's just being imprecise with his statement. I interpret it as "If everyone fucking hates this deck there's probably a good reason to change it."
For instance, Lifesteal OTK Demon Hunter is a fairly weak deck winrate wise, but it's an absolute snoozefest to play against (by virtue of being a typical single player cycle-until-victory deck), so in that sense if everyone is saying "fuck this deck" it probably needs changes.
Either way, anything below actual High Legend is virtually the same. Everyone can get to Legend, it's just a matter of time. Meanwhile, the top legend meta is drastically different most of the time so just balancing around that leaves 99% of the playerbase unhappy, so I don#t see why the lower ranks shouldn't have a voice too.
Is there an outside link to get to the shop/Fun at th crossroads post? Because the expansions tab only gets me to the Tavern Crawl which doesn't show my currency or the scavenger hunt.

Didn't eeven win the game, but it was cool

Thanks to the current influx of Rogue decks with no weaknesses I am forever spiteful towards this portrait
Also Golden Valeera is better anyways

How do you not put Shardshatter Mystic into a deck designed to clear boards?
It is a snoozefest because I have to watch him draw 3 cards per turn while I send everything face and hope he runs out of lifesteal before I run out of cards

I'm pretty sure this is going to be necessary in tempo Rogue purely because Eviscerate is gone and you need the reach
luckily Self-Sharpening Sword will almost certainly be nerfed
because it's the only other class that really uses Beasts (and has a 5-mana slot to fill)
unfortunately Twillight Runner isn't a Hunter card

COMBO HUNTER IS HAPPENING BOYS

absolutely, quite possibly the worst thing they've ever put out PvE wise
