This isn't even just damage mitigation, it's straight-up healing. Just play it at any point and use lifetaps and whatever else you want to heal back up. It's actually just better than Touch of the NAthrezim if you're thinking in terms of total damage prevented.
I mean, just at baseline this is already way above average stats (not good enough for Constructed obviously, but still) and just at 2 it's already nuts.
Considering this can easily be summon 3-4 imps on turn 5 on average (while you can still mitigate the damage) is kind of insane. It's honestly silly they made the main body this good already.
To be fair, it's not like you can mitigate ALL of the damage 100% of the time, it's more of a failsafe so you don't eventually just kill yourself because your opponent happened to be an aggro deck that just went face.
If you try to mitigate with just healing and taunts you're gonna give them too many good tools and we get another Kobolds and Catacombs situation (where Warlock was allowed to be super-greedy because of all the recovery they had)
I want to call it Reverse Curselock because it relies on gradually killing yourself instead of your opponent.
That being said, it sounds actually pretty good, especially Cresecendo might be kinda nutty.
Honestly I was really wondering how they could possibly make the Self-damage meme any more interesting than what Demon Seed did, but they actually did it. I hope this works out.
I guess we just mix it with the imp package seeing how there's an overlap in minions already and Curse-Implock proves that the Imp PAckage is fairly splashable.
Same reason we no longer have Succubus. Wouldn'T want the kids to ask uncomfortable questions (which is a reasonable sentiment, they're a company, they have to appeal to the lowest common denominator)
Potentially strong if it counts Dual-tribe minions twice. If not then it's basically unplayable. You're never drawing more than 3 cards with this and that's optimal circumstances.
If you're not gonna give us Impending Catastrophe you could at least make it cost 1-mana.
It's alright. You rarely end your turn with removal, but I guess it's good enough to be put into Spell DH (if that still exists)
Pretty good but also kind of slow.
This is not an aggro card, but DH only has Aggro weapons right now (I guess Aldrachi is a control weapon) and it's too slow for aggro.
Then again, it could be the missing piece to give DH draw power without having to commit to Relics
Just a generic good card. Bit boring, but I guess this isn't supposed to be a Frost expansion.
Basically a not-crappy version of Saurfang. Pretty good for Blood DK to keep up tempo instead of just doing nothing.
rarity does not correlate to power, never has.
Usually epics are just the whackier build-around cards while commons and rares are the more basic cards that everyone should have easy access to.
At the end of the day it's all arbitrary anyways.
Before the great plague
It's honestly just good at baseline and it just keeps getting better the more you go on. The perfect enabler for the other Fatigue cards.
Why doesn't Warrior get cards like this?
Scaling asymmetrical AoE that also goes face.
Honestly, this is just unreasonably insane, especially considering Hellfire already got buffed so it'S not like you'd need to play this too early.

You play it after Jailer obviously, what don't you understand here?
And you will get destroyed if your turn 11 play is a Jailer + Void Virtuoso as well.
Point being: If you can survive dropping Jailer you might as well play Mal'ganis.

Or you could just play Mal'Ganis and be immune to everything

Well, i think Lust has more generally lewd implications whereas desire is more general.
Lust is pretty much exclusively sexual in nature when used as a standalone word.
Anyways, I hope you like Shaman's new spell: Blooddesire
Well, that'S a 1-card win condition for Control Warlock....and subsequently the death of any other attrition-based Control deck. RIP Svalna I guess.
Very strong and you can grief even hard with Queen Azshara to double up on your spells.
Thoroughly disappointed that Movement of Desire isn't just a picture of unnerfed Jaina.
