A new Tavern Brawl chalkboard has been datamined that appears to be the return of Brawl Block!
Brawl Block is a special type of Tavern Brawl that greatly restricts your deckbuilding. We've seen restrictions on certain card sets and card rarities so far. These types of brawls first debuted last year and we've seen 4 of them show up so far, likely thanks to them being a community hit. The blocks we've seen so far are:
- Brawl Block: Gods, Gadgetzan, Gurubashi (June 19, 2019)
- Whispers of the Old Gods, Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, and Rastakhan's Rumble cards.
- Brawl Block: Old and New (January 8, 2019)
- Goblins vs Gnomes, The Grand Tournament, The Witchwood, and The Boomsday Project cards.
- Brawl Block: Tinyfin Mode! (September 18, 2019)
- All sets were allowed.
- The restriction was that you could only use Basic, Common, and Rare cards.
- Brawl Block: Year of the Mammoth (March 27, 2019)
- Journey to Un'Goro, Knights of the Frozen Throne, and Kobolds & Catacombs cards.
With some new art datamined in the client, it looks like Blizzard will introduce a Brawl Block specifically aimed at adventures in the future. This brawl is named "Brawl Block: Feeling Adventurous"
The art itself suspiciously showcases only Galakrond's Awakening assets, but it wouldn't make sense to only do a brawl with only that set seeing as it is quite limited. What do you think the brawl will be about? Will we have set restrictions? Perhaps some old heroes to build around.

Just make it a permanent game mode already Blizz...
I wonder if the new constructed game mode is going to be some kind of permanent Brawl Block.
I'd very much love a restricted game mode this this. Even if its 3-4 sets and changes up like the above previous tavern brawls.

You really get to see certain cards shine that don't in standard and wild
I'm holding out a sliver of hope for a cooperative experience, or a 2v2 mode. Probably won't happen :(

Well I would assume it will be restricted to:
Naxx, Blackrock, LoE, Karazhan and Awakening
If you don't own an Adventure you'd be kind of F'd, no? I own them all so no problem there, but what about other people? Seems like a bad idea.

They'd have to be free specifically for the Brawl and nothing else; I suppose that could work.
Kinda don't, if it is first wings only... WIll give you just enough cards to build a deck, but then probably not a really good one... (i tried Rogue... literally 31 cards even with 2 of each non legendary, and one of them is Reno Jackson which you probably don't really want with so many dupes)
He didnt mean it like that, he meant as you ''have'' all the adventure cards but can only use them in the tavern brawl
