Random on Random on Random - This Week's Tavern Brawl is A Chance Encounter!

We heard you like random cards! Choose a class and get a randomly filled deck of randomly "random" cards... RANDOM!

The Hearthstone time is trolling up a storm by bringing back A Chance Encounter this week. Just go into Tavern Brawl, choose a class, and receive a random deck with cards that do random things. This is the third time we've seen this brawl with the last time being January 2019.

Tell us about your experiences in this week's brawl down below.

  • We heard you like random cards!

Occasionally.  If it's fun.  WITHIN REASON!

  • Great...

  • nnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooo..................................................................

  • Ugh, no... why? Why!?!?!?!

At least it's not Valeera's Bag of Burgled Spells or Idols of Azeroth... But still, this one is probably in my top 5 least favorite brawls.

    • Valeera's Bag of Burgled Spells is my all-time favourite.

Different strokes for different folks indeed.

    • Yeah, Idols are horrible, the games take forever.

    • In short: different brawls suit different people. I personally use Tavern Brawls as a place to avoid metas, so am quite happy to have the super random ones where I can just let Hearthstone happen in front of me. It's dumb and shouldn't be taken seriously of course, but it can be fun nonetheless.

Conversely, I barely touch most Brawls where you build your own deck and a small number of strategies are clearly superior to the rest. I have enough of that in constructed.

  • No, I don't like random cards
