Grab your weapon and head to the Rumbledome! When the felfire burns brightest, many will fight... and ONE will win.
How it Works
- You'll pick your hero and receive a deck for them.
- At the start of your first turn, you'll get to discover a unique weapon for this Tavern Brawl.
Legendary Quest
A special Legendary quest is active for this Tavern Brawl. Play a total of 4 times to unlock 3 card packs!
- 1x Ashes of Outland Pack
- 1x Year of the Dragon Pack
- 1x Descent of Dragons Pack
Rumbledome Heroes
There are eight heroes you can play as. Most are dual-classed!
- Aranna Starseeker - Demon Hunter & Hunter
- A natural leader always comes out on top!
- Elise of the Wasteland - Priest & Druid
- Has some serious questions about her sister's recent activities.
- Illidan Stormrage - Demon Hunter
- The Lord of Outland is looking forward to a rematch!
- Karnuk - Demon Hunter & Priest
- As a priest turned demon hunter, he's basically capable of anything.
- Kriziki - Warlock & Priest
- Sought peace and quiet in Outland, but instead found demon hunters. LOTS of demon hunters.
- Mecha-Jaraxxus - Warlock
- With rage and rust, he has been rebuilt!
- Shalja - Demon Hunter & Shaman
- Even in the middle of a desert, she'll ensure her foes are all washed up.
- Skilibb - Demon Hunter & Druid
- He's proof that in Zangarmarsh, the mushrooms hunt YOU!
Everyone who has Demon Hunter as a class is using the normal Demon Hunter hero power. Elise uses Druid and Kriziki has Priest.
Rumebledome Weapons
Here are all the weapons that are available in the pool. You'll be shown 3 of them in a Discover interface and get to choose one to use.
Comments
Went 4-0 with Aranna. Fun brawl.
Does this mean that Kriziki survived Galakrond's awakening?
if we were to believe that the good side won is canon then all 4 of EVIL are dead.
But there's always some way to contrive their survival. Good guys always win, but bad guys never die.
Elise and Kriziki are just dumb. When I played those characters it was just a ROFLCopter
mostly because elise has access to the most overpowered weapon in the game. Elise's Machete practically seals games all on its own.
I didn't lose a single game, played twice against Elise. Kriziki was such an easy pick, all those Taunts and the spells are super useful as well.
What nobody seems to get is to SAVE Weapon Durability. Everyone sees the HP button is active and they just smash face and have no removal left. Genius plays out there
Completed the Legendary Quest. Three times the player who had Snake on a Stick (twice it was me) stomped their way to victory.
From the 4 games I played, every one misused their weapon, you gone face right away.. So it's not necessarily the best weapon.. I think it depends on your curve and class.. It's a strong card but double 2 dmg aoe is quite strong as well.
Unfortunally didn't hit the Year of the Dragon garanteed-in-first-10-packs legendary with this last free pack =(
Kinda hoping we get some more of these in future special events!
On a sidenote, the Quest counts even on an early self concede.
The real tips are always in the comments :D
why kriziki here?
Were you hoping for Kenobi?
I like these weapon names :D Must have been a fun design process.
With all of the multiclassing we've been seeing lately (mainly Tombs of Terror and the Felfire Festival), I'm pretty confident the new gamemode will be dual-class constructed.
I hope it isn't dual-class constructed. As fun as that may be, it is my belief that it is more fun when it is sprinkled throughout the year as a treat instead of a permanent game mode.
Though, part of that might be me being afraid of the changes I'd need to make to support dual-class decks on the site :P
Either the cards are completely different from standard, and/or they change the hero powers completely. I can't imagine team5 balancing the entire sets of expansions just to fit in this dual-class concept.
Not that Im complaining if it turns out that way, just trying to imagine every tier 1 deck being something + dhunters.
It's a really great tavern brawl but I think it's funny how little variety there is in the hero selection. 5 of them are demon hunters, with illidan literally being just a normal demon hunter deck. It's also kinda funny how some classes like mage and warrior aren't represented at all, while priest gets shown in 3 separate classes. I get that they're characters from the adventure but still.
This is fun. The windfury weapon with inner demon on 8 for 22 damage: tres magnifique.
