Rumble Run is a free single player game mode released with the expansion Rastakhan's Rumble. It became available shortly after the set's release on December 13th 2018.
Table of Contents
Content Overview
- Similar to Dungeon Run and Monster Hunt.
- Begin each run as a new challenger, Rikkar.
- Each class has 3 unique shrines with special and powerful effects.
- You choose one from a selection of 3 shrines before you begin.
- Each shrine has an associated deck for you to start your run with.
- Throughout your run you'll have opportunities to choose many new cards.
- You will represent the class corresponding with your chosen shrine.
- The remaining 8 classes will challenge you; defeat them all to be victorious!
How It Works
- On your first run & after defeating all 8 challengers the shrines presented to you will be random.
- If you lose a run you will always have the option to choose the shrines in play during the round you lost.
- You will always start with 20 health and gain 5 additional health with each win.
- You will always have the first turn, and the enemy will not receive The Coin.
- You and your opponent both start with your shrine on the board.
- Shrines are permanent minions on the board. When destroyed they become dormant for 3 turns before being re-summoned.
- When a shrine is targeted by effects that would otherwise result in permanent loss of control or effects they will instead be destroyed.
- Shrines have different tiers. The first 2 classes will use a low-tier shrine, the next 3 mid-tier, and last 3 top-tier, increasing difficulty as you progress.
- After each round you are given a choice between 3 bundles of cards selected from various card pools.
- After your 2nd and 4th win you will choose 1 of 3 powerful companions from a pool of 6 per class.
- After your 6th win will choose one of several various passive effects.
Card Pools
After each round you are given a choice between 3 bundles of cards selected from various card pools. Each class has their own set of 10 categories with various cards in each that are bundled randomly.
