It looks like the recently revealed set of explorer legendary cards won't be the only highlander-style cards this expansion will see!
Tim Clark of PC Gamer, who wrote an article about Dinotamer Brann, received clarification from Blizzard that there is one other card that synergizes with no duplicates. Could another class be getting a highlander tool? Are we going to get a neutral support card for the mechanic? Only time will tell!
Quote From Tim Clark Further clarification on this. Am now told there is in fact one other card which synergises with no duplicates which hasn’t been revealed yet. Let the speculation begin!
Tim also posted on the CompetitiveHS reddit.
Quote From /u/Arse2Mouse Hey, Tim from PC Gamer here. Was encouraged to post this as a separate thread to help clear up any additional confusion when evaluating the power of the new Brann, Reno, Elise and Sin Finley cards. In my interview with Blizzard about Brann, I asked if there were any supporting cards and at the time (two weeks ago) was told "It's only the four explorers", which I mentioned on the card reveal thread here today.
However Blizzard got in touch to clarify that there is one more card which works based on the no-duplicates mechanic. I have no further info about that card's class (and of course it may well be neutral), rarity or when it'll be spoiled. Hope that's of interest!
What kind of card would you like to see that supports highlander / singleton / no duplicates?

Dear OOC mods,
Please include the answer to this revealed mystery: Zephrys the Great
Thanks a million!

Connor MacLeod?
Duncan Macleod?
Mr. Bigglesworth
I'm thinking it will be a neutral card that removes all duplicates from both players decks, probably cost about 6 or 7
I hope it's a Dragon type Kazakus card.
I bet Highlander will kind of be ok but not great this expansion. Next expansion the conclusion of the trilogy where the heroes win they get much more support Highlander will be tier 1.
Maybe a Kazakus in the dragon form (Year of the Dragon anyone?) back on the Gadgetzan trailer?
In trumps latest review video about the legendaries, it seemed that he was hinting there is a neutral support card coming. Thats how i saw it anyways.
I would presume, like others, that it'll be a legendary rarity card... Which means that (with 5 'no-duplicate' legendaries in the set) pack opening will be like Russian roulette for those who don't like highlander decks.
Personally I'm hyped to see this new card. I'm hoping it's neutral!
Also, side note, Arse2Mouse is an inspired username.
Told ya. B-)
I hope for a versatile card like Kazakus, more than old Reno (who is a boring card).
@brownhackwtf and others: Regarding the Highlander design: it looks they've only printed cards to support "the good side", while Reborn concept features "the villains".
Paladin has reborn in its quest, plagues are the evil gimmick this time
If it's not a neutral then the entire HIghlander archetype is dead on arrival
'Destroy all duplicates' seems reasonable and necessary.
I agree, a neutral minion with "Battlecry: Destroy all duplicate cards in your deck." is my prediction, if they actually care about making highlander work in standard. Which I assume, they do.
What about “... in both players decks”
Heh, I thought about that too, but it feels a bit too crazy for a neutral card. Sounds more like some very expensive Warlock card.
Reposting my theory from the Comic Con news post: I'm starting to believe that they will print something like "destroy cards that didn't start in your deck" or "destroy all duplicates" tech card, just because Bomb Warrior would counter all these Highlander strategies so hard if they didn't.
It would also make sense if they first gave the impression that the four explorers were the only highlander cards, but then realized that this unrevealed card definitely supports highlander without actually being one itself. Or maybe it's all just my hopeful thinking, I kinda want highlander to be a thing again in Standard as well.
Removing duplicates or shuffled cards would also synergise with Impbalming.
It will probably be a neutral one, just like Kazakus was.
I hope it will be as powerful as Reno Jackson was, otherwise, highlander will just be a useless mechanic in standard.
One... just one...
Yeah I don't think that's going to be enough to make these cards playable just yet.
Especially Brann.
