Leaked! Or perhaps this is just some clever marketing from Blizzard.
According to Slysssa's YouTube channel, she has scheduled a video for tomorrow, December 14, that previews a new hero and card for Hearthstone Battlegrounds. We learned a couple of days ago that a part of the mid-December Hearthstone update would include changes to Battlegrounds, enough to warrant a rating reset, and with Slysssa's track record of having Blizzard announcements on her channel in the past, this leads us to believe this 100% true.
So if we're getting a new hero and a new card, there are likely other Battlegrounds goodies coming our way too in the update. It wouldn't be too crazy to assume that additional information on those may arrive a day in advance of the patch which is expected to hit on December 15.
We've embedded Slysssa's YouTube Premiere down below which goes live on December 14 at 13:00 Eastern (10:00 Pacific, 19:00 CET). Keep your eyes peeled to Out of Cards for continued coverage of Hearthstone Battlegrounds. We'll let you know as soon as more information is available on the update.
Slysssa updated the video time since this post went live. Times have been corrected in the post and were previously 3 hours ahead of where they are now.

I hope you can redo the exp table once you guys finished datamined the upcoming patch.
Pretty please.. (Still gonna ask you to teach us data mining.)
Slysssa changed the scheduled time on the video. Updated the post with the new times (3 hours earlier than previously stated)
So is this when the changes to the battlepass go live too? i thought it was on the 15th?
That could well be just the announcement/blog timing, and not yet patch.
Fun, but when are the nerfs for standard?
Id rather get buffs and more tools(in minie xpac) for other classes (liek actual enough control tools like healing or removals so people can get to the old gods vs having basicly 0 (good) ways to defend against aggresion of any kind
Just nerfs (and soly) nerfs arent the solution then evrythign and enrfing dh wont suddnely fx issues some of other classes have and whty theyre bad at all.(warlock, mage, priest and aslo druid for example)
Also for dh the intinate set cards are gonna rotate in few months to wild so thats a thing aswell.
True, but generally when people talk about nerfs they talk about oppressive cards getting nerfed. While it's obviously better to have balance patches that nerf overused/overpowered cards and buff underused/underpowered cards, a strict viewpoint that "nerfing everything is bad" is short sighted. Sometimes the only tool available given a specific situation is to nerf cards.
Since I'm weighing in here on this subject, on a personal note I'd like to see Blizzard do balance adjustments every 2 weeks for the first month of an expansion, and then after the first month, monthly balance adjustments. The hands off attitude has to go away. The mentality that "the meta will fix itself" has proven that it doesn't really work. And will continue to be harder and harder to naturally find equilibrium the more cards and classes they plan to add to hearthstone (adding more cards mid-season, and more classes in upcoming years will only exacerbate meta problems)
Nerfs to DH please!
And Warrior please!
Why would they nerf Warrior?
Because Skipper + Amorsmith is op.
*Looks at the downvotes* Oh it seems like a lot of Control players are here... Sorry for my heresy, I meant to say: "aggro bad! aggro op! nerf aggro! buff control! control good! control smart!"
Tech in a Platebreaker or two.
I wonder if this means that we are getting a "Battlegrounds reveal Season"
