My first thought was, "How can I force my opponent to summon bad things, like Bomb Squad?", but it's PLAY not summon, as someone else noted. Not sure how to abuse this, so I guess it's just another 5 mana 8/8.
Scary to be against the Mage, Jaina casts Conjurer's on Zilliax and gets yet another giant.
Fel Reaver, is that you?
I think y'all missing the boat on this one, clearly this is meant as a Mecha'thun hate card.
Seriously not even sure it would work, would reborn happen after the deathrattle?
Giving control of an effect to your opponent is never a good thing. I imagine this will see about at much play as Harbinger Celestia
My first thought was Silence Priest. If the board is relatively empty you can place this down, next turn Wailing Soul for two big boys without the downside. If it’s taken some damage use Circle to heal up!
The downside only lasts a single turn that way, so they either play a bunch of little crap or one biggermid game minion.
The downside seems like too much. Seems great for arena though.
Anka cus I wanna try mechathun rogue
Time to lose the game if your opponent plays something sticky.
i can't really get how powerful reborn is gonna be, but this can be a pretty nasty against any deck that does not have big board value cards to exploit it. At the end of the day it's an 8/8 for five and aggro decks don't care about a control deck getting extra value on turn 6 if they can get damage trough. it's probably pretty good. Also note it's when your opponent PLAYS rather than summon so it means they are getting at most 1 reborn per card.
5 mana 8/8 but not very aggro as it makes opponent taunts better.
Need to see how it plays out, honestly. I expect it to be a good-average arena card, with not a lot of play in Standard. (need to see if there will be any support!)
Can be an insta-win if the opponent has no follow up to counter it. Also need to remember, that Reborn only summons a 1 health minion that can be easily cleared. With Dalaran Crusader and Eccentric Scribe gone (the two best 5 and 6 drops on curve with bonuses), I can see it doing well. The bad scenario I foresee is your opponent swarming you with small drops, and all of this is assuming you draw it on turn 5.
Overall, eh.
Oh Snap! It's Fel Reaver 2: Electric Boogaloo!
fel reaver 3, if you count Bittertide Hydra.
I called Fel Reaver crap and I was wrong, I don't wanna call this is crap.
Let's say for instance that you play Galvanizer on turn two while going second.
Turn three coin out Mortuary Machine then run all the silence you can and go face.
who cares if your opponent gets reborn on their taunt's your just going to silence them anyway.
This does seem like a great fit for Silence Priest though.
Anti Big priest!!!
...how?
How? Ok, he does not play a minion until turn 8 except for Barnes or Archmage Vargoth. But rarely you can win past turn 6 with aggro.
because they hardy play minions, so they will not be able to reap a lot of benefit. maybe I made a mistake in saying 'ANTI big priest' when I really meant that it would simply be useful against them.
But just think of the value with Zombie Chow!!
