I've been really loving the recent card backs. Keep up the outstanding work, Hearthstone card back artists!
Very beautiful card back.
While this card back doesn't suit my personal style, it still looks amazing as all of them do.
I love seeing the new card backs that come up all the time. But my biggest qualm with it is that you don't get to really see YOUR card back, it is mostly for your opponent to see. I would really like to see the place where your deck is placed get altered so that you can also see your card back while playing. Just my opinion as that would be a rather large UI change and probably not well done without screwing up any number of things.
As a fan of dwarves, I'm really into this cardback. I'll be using it a lot, I think.
Happy New Year everyone!!!!
I like that cardback. Too bad it's a hearthstone cardback, and I'm stuck playing Shamanstone.
It's silly, but I really want to jam Odd Shaman with Earthfury Thrall portrait and this cardback on the ladder.
(I know it's Ironforge and not Molten Core, but all lava matters to a Shaman!).
There are a lot of dwarf shaman in lore, so it still fits thematically.
But as far as I know alliance didn't have any shaman in its factions on vanilla, no? They started to have them with Burning Crusade and Draenei and eventually after that Dwarves when Cataclysm hitted. Right now I'm totally out of lore but which shaman dwarves are lore related?
I'm totally curious about that.
The Wildhammer dwarves are very shamanistic. They also ride griffins and channel the power of lightning through their hammers to strike from the sky. While it's true that you couldn't play as a dwarf shaman in the early days of WoW, that's because all the playable dwarves were meant to be Bronzebeard dwarves. They later expanded the possible options for your character origins, but Wildhammer dwarves themselves have been cannon since Warcraft II, long before WoW was even in development.
I was more concerned with Thrall at Ironforge, but I see how you meant it :)
Edit: When is the next lore article planned? I love them!
Glad you like them so much! I just released a new on on Rexxar. Go and check it out in the lore section.
That's a cool cardback. Glad I'll have it in my collection.
This one looks so cool for most of the Warrior skins.
