We have seen this particular inquiry being repeated out there on a fairly regular basis, and although Celestalon was nice enough to give us a heads up across various tweets over the past week, it looks like it's still worthwhile to get the word out further. Brief variations of the following message should count as firm assurance at this point:
Quote From Celestalon There is no quest reset with the expansion launch.
We did get a new set of quests the first time the Rewards Track was introduced to us, but that was due to a complete makeover. Nothing as revolutionary this time.
Now, you might be a little sad if you were hoping to double dip with more quests than usual in a single week. On the other hand, there is no need to frantically scramble trying to complete them as early as possible. But there is still a small choice to be made.
You could hold onto your quests for the post-expansion launch window, and get that experience boost to collect the new cards and packs a little faster. Or maybe you would prefer to bank more gold now while Darkmoon Faire remains, in case you plan to buy the Tavern Pass and/or play a whole ton of Hearthstone during Forged in the Barrens and consider hitting that max XP level a real possibility. Either way, it won't make a huge difference in the long run, so it's nothing worth worrying about much.
If you are also trying for a ladder finish to earn your Barrens packs (only a couple of days left!), then that's where saving your quests might become a nuisance. You might have seen some of the new ones by now, although so far there doesn't seem to be anything special. The 5x Ranked Wins can be rerolled now, yet all other weekly quests remain of slightly lower value. And some of them might auto-complete as you play (same as certain dailies). It's never that easy to make plans, is it. At least there will always be that one more day in the new expansion meta before we are ready to greet another month. Whatever the case, good luck out there!
Saving up your quests or not particularly caring about all that fuss? Were you hoping for a proper reset with the new expansion, or it's just fine the way it is?

I completed enough quests last night to get me to 10,000 gold. 100 free packs on launch day! (But I accidentally completed 5 Ranked Wins with that last game, so I’m actually close to 102.)
Just stopped playing now. Got Turn 1 Yeti and 250 wins with priest in the meantime (longtime player, but long time casual mode player... just started playing ranked again with the new system, still 150 wins away from my first 500 wins hero) It is hard playing without completing some of this quests... Draw Cards and use your hero power are some of the worst to evade. Left them at 1 remaining
This takes me back to the previous system, where I would always try to dodge 50 gold quests for a given day in order to try to reroll into something better. But whenever I actually wanted to play some more, it was nigh impossible not to complete some of them regardless.
Yeah, I´m saving three quests from each Weeklies and Dailies, I´m more than ready for the new TP :)
yea, I'm saving 3 daily and 3 weekly too, I hope that the 4th slot works and we wont lose any quests during launch.
Let´s hope :) We´ll see in about an hour. Bring it on already! YAY! :D
Well good thing i saved my quests for FitB launch. I personally rather get the new stuff on the rewards track. (Because i already have 80 packs worth of gold ready to spend on FitB packs. AND i'm purchasing the Tavern Pass this time, so i rather get closer to to Cosmetics/EXP Boosters as soon as possible!)
If the quest would have reset, let's just say that i would have had to play A LOT of games/Battlegrounds before FitB launches.
That was my thinking as well with the exp boosts as soon as possible; also got tempted by the Tavern Pass this time. Feels like a better deal than the first time around when I was mostly "meh, pass". Admittedly the whole Rewards Track was in a much worse condition back then, not to mention the pass deal itself.
"Either way, it won't make a huge difference in the long run, so it's nothing worth worrying about much."
that's the main point I feel. have fun getting your XP, folks, either way! :)
Seeing as I'm at the point of 50g/1500xp now, and I'm confident I will be again in less than 3 months, I don't see why I would bother saving my quests in order to get xp on the new track instead of the current one. It will all work out the same.
As stated above, it will help you getting the rewards a few days earlier. In a long run the results are the same.
One important bit is to get that free legendary card on the track on day 1 so you'll be better informed when you make crafting decisions. Its up at about 5750 xp, which would be obtainable from the xp gained from all three weeklies.
Except you unlock new cosmetics earlier witch is worth the hassle to me. This is especially relevant when buying the tavern pass.
What about Experience Points leftovers from the previous track? They will be gone, right?
GONE
noooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Can always afk battlegrounds to get to the next level before expac launches (assuming you are already level 50+).
That's what I did - hate to waste precious XP :)
Yeah I was doing some math and even with the minimum quests, if I fill my weekly and daily slots, and finish them all tmrw, I have enough to blast to lvl 26 without the Battle Pass
I was wondering about this, I'm saving all the possible quest slots for the launch.
By the way, we will have any legendary quest tomorrow?
I completed the daily today to get the 50 gold and round out one more pack. Saving the weeklies for tomorrow to use to rocket through the first part of the rewards track for all those sweet rewards. It's very rewarding.
