Vol'dun's a little dry and sandy, but it sure has good bones.
What is Happening in September 2019?
- September 17: The Tombs of Terror, Saviors of Uldum's solo content, launches.
- Every Weekend: Grandmasters Season 2
Vol'dun? What's That?
Vol'dun is a sandy desert on the island of Zandalar, the homeland of the Zandalari Trolls. 10,000 years ago, when the great sundering occurred due to implosion of the Well of Eternity (which created the Maelstrom), Zandalar was broken off its home on Kalimdor, turning it into an island.
- Vol'dun is home to the Vulpera and Sethrak races.
- The area was originally a lush jungle but due to the presence of the Sethrak, the jungle turned into a desert.
- Originally inhabited by the Zandalar tribe, they now use the wasteland as a place to throw their criminals.
- Saviors of Uldum brought us some Vulpera and Sethrak! Vulpera Scoundrel and Vessina two. Can you find the other two?

Well I hope everyone enjoys quest Druid, quest shaman and quest paladin for the next month.
Cardbacks like this make me wish that there was more interaction with them or that they stood out more. This is a beautiful cardback, and you'd miss the little details more often than not since you can only see about 40% of the card at best. Unless of course your opponent discovers.
First glance I didn't like the card back but I've started to appreciate the little oasis element. Plus better to judge in game when you see opponents hand.
I love it. Red sand is the best sand, as long as it's natural and not dyed from the blood of a battle.
i don't like sand. it's coarse and rough and gets everywhere
You made the Tusken Raiders mad ... and not just the men ...^^
in the cracks.
Not like you.
you're soft and smooth
I still don't quite get why they decided to merge the deserts of Vol'dun and Uldum. There was more than enough content in Uldum to have all the cards from SoU be from that desert.
Jar Dealer and Clever Disguise? Or you can name Fedora from singleplayer.
Anyway, great card back and possible spoiler for the future content, or just another place in wow for cardback
You figured it out =)
Yet i don't get the crimson sand.
I mean, it doesn't even look like sand, or desert.
What am i missing?
are you not aware that red sand exists?
Definitely not in that nearly-crimson hue.
Not even on Mars.
At best in Hellfire Peninsula in Outland.
uh...
Now that is beautiful sand. I'm not the type to live in a desert, but if I did, I'd want the want to look like that.
Yeah? Is that the same colour as the card above?
In my book it's not. Not even close, despite the name you give it.
Otherwise i wouldn't have bothered to post. Don't you think?
I guess if you just pretend like shading or stylized colouring doesn't exist then I guess you're right.
Just google red sand. There's plenty that looks close enough. I just chose the most appealing picture.
Yeah that was my point. The color shading of the card looks unnatural to me.
I misused "red sand", while i meant "crimson- shaded sand".
