Celestalon has confirmed on Twitter that they feature that allows you to share decks with friends in friendly challenges has been fixed and should be arriving in Patch 20.4 this week.
The feature, which arrived all the way back in the Witchwood Patch back in 2018, has not been available to players due to a bug that was introduced alongside the Quilboar Tribe introduction patch earlier in May. With a fix on the horizon, we can go back to sharing our overpowered decks with our friends for an even playing field in friendly challenges.
Quote From @Celestalon It's much harder to get friends back into hearthstone when the share deck feature has been broken nearly a month.
Agreed; it should be fixed in 20.4 later this week!
Do you make use of the deck sharing feature often? Has the bug been a recent pain point? Tell us about your experiences, the good ones too, about friendly challenges in the comments below.

I occasionally play against myself using my daughter's account and the "Borrow decks" function in order to learn how to win difficult or particularly annoying matchups. It's actually a great way to recognize the problems the opponent is facing and it often gives useful information about reasonable winning strategies.
I have a second account with decks built specifically to complete daily and weekly quests for both accounts, so this past month has been such a pain because of this.
I wonder why there's no discussion about this earlier, or maybe there's not much who use this feature to make a commotion about it.
All the golden cards from the core set that you draft in Arena still turn into their regular non-golden version when you start playing. I hope this will get fixed as well. It's about damn time!
I didn't even know it existed. Is it a popular feature?
I've used it more than once. It is an excellent option if you want to play against a friend that does not have as big of a collection as you.
Glad its being fixed (though i find ti weird it stayed ike that for a month basicly)
But i sue the feature often, i got a friend who doesnt play much/often and i often create themed decks for us to play agaisnt each other via the deck sharing.
