We've got another chapter of the Book of Heroes adventure live and this time around it features our favourite Druid, Malfurion!
In addition to the new chapter, Emerald Malfurion has finally made his way into the shop for $10 USD. Available through June 30, this bundle contains the hero skin and 5 Druid card packs.

Smh the Illidan fight was pretty disappointing. They completely glossed over some of the important details, like how Illidan was actually trying to do good for once. Maybe that’s because Malfurion is a biased narrator and this will come up in the Illidan book
Illidan is more an Anti-hero, so to some heroes (even his own brother), he's a villain

Genuine question: is there anyone that actually cares about Malfurion and his story? I haven't played WoW so I don't have that perspective, but to me Malfurion ranks alongside Uther as one of the most boring, one-note characters in WC3. They're like...Obi Wan if they took all the interesting bits out.

Finished the adventure, and I have to say it was disappointing how many iconic battles there are in this one and yet every one of them (except vs Xavius) felt like one note, being beaten almost effortlessly without thought. The last two in particular plays exactly like token druid in standard with as much to be expected from a typical token druid game: hard mulligan for the cards you need, fill the board, buff and win. Or don't, and get your helpless arse kicked to the netherside of Kalimdor.
That sylvanas end fight was particularly disappointing considering how well Anduin's last match was. I wasn't expecting the same, but the game ended way before I reached 10 mana, simply because Malfurion practically stole the game with Powershifting. Saurfang didn't even get a turn before I won.
I must say, Malfurion looking pretty sexy in this. But I HATE how his hand is cut off in the portrait.
At least it didn't end up as bad as Darius Crowley. If I never saw that full pic, it would seem like the cut was taken right before Darius fell after slipping on a banana.
Hopefully we'll get more casual or silly skins soon. That humor is where Hearthstone shines - all of these serious poses and heroic gestures don't do much for me.
That said, I like the colors on this one. It's definitely one of the prettier Druid skins!
I think a mix of both is best, but you are completely right we're missing fun skins.
Well, we should get Guff this year. I like his story, pretty funny. Same goes for Tavish and probably Scabbs.
Other mercenaries seems to have a more serious background and emotional lore.
I also think that HS can use more skins Warcraft-skins. Hoping for Varynn next expansion pre-order for the serious lore or Matthias Shaw for a more funny (Male Rogue) hero.
BTW, Mathias Shaw is teased to be gay and maybe Blizzard can use him to support the LHBTI-community in-game.

why they launched three "books" in a couple of weeks? Why didn't they delay them?
My guess is that they want to get them out of the way, so they don't distract the focus from an upcoming Patch. There are only 2 months left until the next expansion (actually only 1 month, because there won't be big updates between the announcement and release) and we are still expecting the Mercenaries mode, new Duels heroes (seriously it has been in "season 1" for over half a year now) and the fire-festival for this expansion.
My guess is to give folks something new to do consistently to tide us over until the next set.
That or possible delays earlier in the year with releases meant we were going to see catch up at some point and going forward maybe it'll be every couple of weeks instead, rotating between Mercs and Heroes until heroes is finished.
I do not like this skin, it is a very boring design which reminds me 3 other Malfurion skins.
Malfurion itself is a pretty badass character who deserves something better
