An interesting, and possibly cursed, piece of art was posted by Blizzard today on the official Hearthstone account. They unfortunately didn't provide statistics or explanation why these are the top cards in the standard format, and after looking through HSReplay's card stats, nothing there matched up well either. We should note that we can probably trust Blizzard here though since they have all the data from all the games being played and HSReplay only has some players taking part in their data collection.
So, here's Hearthstone's Mt Rushmore featuring the likes of Adorable Infestation, Rinling's Rifle, Demon Companion, and Warsong Wrangler.
What do you think of the art? How are you enjoying the current standard meta? Let us know in the comments below!

This does look incredibly cursed lol.
... More like mount Face-more.
It shouldn't really come as a surprise given that face hunter is basically the cheapest tier 1 deck, and I'm fairly certain this stats is based across all ranks rather than high levels, because the higher you go the less hunters you tend to face (at least for me)
Also, does my eyes deceive me or is Trampling Rhino and Kolkar Pack Runner not among one of the heads. Rhino in especially. I can't even imagine face hunter being a thing without it
Well Warsong Wrangler has only one job, buffing Trampling Rhino and drawing it. It's part of the package.
at Legend it'S a Priest fiesta, impossible to win with Hunter there.
Sooooo Hunter OP? since all 4 are technically Hunter cards.
The faces of those cards could have been better.
Such a menancing, eldritch pack in the middle... Then, there is Warsong Wrangler in the right. And all meanwhile in the left:
thank you, that was what I saw too
Top played hunter cards, right?
... right?
What a shocker.
Well gentlemen, the evidence is irrefutable. Now is the time to remove Priest from the game!
To me the decks that have the infinite discovers is annoying because most decks you understand what the game plan is and the finite amount of resources they have so you can game plan around it. Most classes right now you can sit there and go "Ok I know what he has left and deploy my board as needed".
But Lunacy mage prior to the nerf and Priest currently its a giant question mark and can be unsatisfying to see repeatedly.
Easily the most annoying class to play against with Warlock a very close second.
Exactly! Hunter has all the best cards, but everyone still complains about priest, that is just how bad priest is...
I will be completely honest here. The difference between Face Hunter and Priest is that you will atleast lose quickly when you lose. Its a deck that is very quick with its path to victory. Also Priest is a lot more common in legend.
The problem with priest is, it just keeps on generating healing, removal and more discover cards seemingly endlessly, while sitting through a 40 minute game of priest discovering shit it gets frustrating really fast. "oh lets hope the priest didn't discover a 5th Apo/ Soul Mirror/ Hysteria etc
Now this is just personal for me ofcourse, but no deck in this game has ever made me want to play the game less than discover priest. Unfortunately on my local meta there are a lot of them.. I just do not want to deal with them. Plenty of times whenever I play against Priest I just exit the game. It is such an excruciating unfun experience.
I don't think this is a control problem either, I don't mind control decks, but just infinitely generating crap without a real win condition is such a toxic gameplan
Infinite card generation is simply a bad game design. It can exist as a rare fun deck, but when it becomes viable, it's just wrong on so many levels.
You thought you were playing constructed? You are wrong, when you face infinite Priest, you don't play constructed anymore, you can't reliably play around anything. Core fundamental rule of constructed mode is broken.
I can see infinite decks existing in a PvE modes.
It's a shame, it just feels like devs have no more ideas, what to do with Priests anymore. Current Standard Priest win condition is to torture your opponent or bore him to death... Both very unhealthy for the game, especially if it stays this way for too long...
If decks become hated when people get bored of dealing with the same thing repeatedly, then I guess it makes sense we'd hate priest when it has refined the process so we deal with the same thing repeatedly without even needing to play multiple games. It's like Big Priest, but without the kindness of having a way to end the game (and our torment) quickly.
So... I take it they're not going to nerf Hunter?
