Blizzard has started posting the community card reveal scheduled for United in Stormwind! Although only a dozen are up as of this post, it looks like things should start up on July 20 which gives us two weeks from the start of reveals until the expansion's launch on August 3.
Like other card reveal periods, we're expecting them to last around a week. Stay tuned to Out of Cards for countdown timers once the schedule gets filled in more. To see them before our gallery goes live, you can find them on the official site.
Keep in mind that sometimes reveal times change and trust us, it's mega frustrating.
Times in this image are in Eastern.

The first card looks like Xirella's staff. Priest's quest waiting room
It's called the Staff of Jordan.

Warlocks, Priests, and Mages would wear it.
9:00 PM looks like a protoss!
It's either a new type of Voidwalker or a Manawraith.
Wonder if we'll get a card that jabs at the world buff meta from classic.
My hopefuls to see are an Auction House card, maybe one that adds a random tradeable card to your hand while giving your opponent a coin.
General Marcus Jonathan
With vendors being a feature here, perhaps a card that turns your coins in your hand into something else.
Woah. I think it's time to make....
Card Reveal BINGO!!!! Come now.
I reallly hope MarkMcKz will get his well desereved card reveal this time.
Am I right in seeing that the reveals are all done in two days?
Wow, I mean, we've gone from a week long full of reveals to cramming as many as 150 cards in two days. Hopefully this is only a prelude, so the reveal schedule is actually alot longer than what we're seeing.
The article clearly states: "Like other card reveal periods, we're expecting them to last around a week". Also, there are literally only 12 cards on that screencap, and only 7 on July 20th, so you can assume that Blizzard isn't going to be revealing 7 cards on one day and 128 cards on the next.
Hope you're right. I went into the link and saw the 'full' schedule and looks to me like its two days.
If you're referring to the pics as individual cards, I think its fair to say that there's no guarantees that its a one-card deal per pic. There have been times where we're treated to 6 cards at once, so we can't safely assume anything from the number of pics available.
I seem to remember last time that not all of the reveal schedule was up right away, so I would suspect the same is true this time. I guess it's possible they're still finalizing things...?
Why do they do this? I'd rather have a few cards every day for a month than ten a day over two weeks. The dry period is so painful.
They monitor engagement in various ways (albeit not always perfectly), and the reveals of the past that lasted for several weeks while trickling down a few cards here and there weren't generally met with great enthusiasm. People would get tired and bored of the prolonged teasing, and not much care to check a daily card or two. I know I would usually block it out and then look up once or twice a week, if that.
I'm not convinced their current system is that great either due to this "dry period", but feels better out of the two. I do however miss having some sort of small initial reveal stream to fill one week and generate more buzz, since they never fit all remaining cards into the final stream anyway and unceremoniously just dump some of them afterwards.
As someone who has to sit around and deliver the news as soon as cards come out, I'm very happy about their changes.
When it used to be just over 2 weeks for card reveals, I got sick every. single. time. The sleeping schedule meant I'd get very little of it which only caused more stress over getting everything right. Not to mention the huge productivity tank that occurs during a card reveal period because of how bad the sleeping is. That sickness would then screw me up for 2-4 days which usually meant that pre-expac preparations took a tank as well.
A week in total though, with a dead weekend that has no reveals breaking up two chunks of days, my body no longer hates me.
I also do think this is better overall for engagement. As much as I'd love the extra ad revenue for 2-3 weeks of reveals, it feels like people get more hyped because they don't have a chance for it to die down. Also, we've always had a dry period between announcement and reveals, so not much has changed there. We just get to the expansion a bit faster overall from the initial announcement.
You've done a great job every single reveal time all the way back to the early HearthSpam days, Robert (Need more Veitch-Bell) Flux! Hope you stay happy and healthy for the upcoming reveal sessions. Cheers!
I do sympathize, its sort of like THAT month during the year at work when circumstances forces everyone to be on 15 hour days without overtime pay.
But selfishly I really prefer a longer reveal schedule, then there's more time to think about the cards and its place in the upcoming meta.
Yeah, that is the big downside in not having as much time to think about the cards and theorycraft decks. I did enjoy that bit about the longer reveal periods! It was always fun to see someone midway through reveals make a cool looking deck with a how-to guide that just got super upgraded during the final stream & dump day - or the opposite where it looked trash due to everything else other classes were getting.
