Some of you may have noticed a new option was added to our card database following yesterday's Hearthstone client patch. This enables you to search for when a card was added to the game and with that addition, you were able to see all the Tombs of Terror cards!
We're going over all the playable heroes and the unlockable hero powers they have access to for Tombs of Terror.
- Remember, these heroes are all dual-class so there's some exciting stuff waiting for us.
- You'll choose your Hero, a Hero Power, and a Signature Treasure at the start of your run.
- Every hero has a "Junior" treasure in one of their slots. It upgrades to a Senior treasure after beating the first 4 chapters.
Expect to see even more of these posts as we put all our guides together for the Tombs of Terror. This is just an early glance!

Comments
Idk about the power level of the card, but Jr. Tomb Diver looks hella fine.
this looks much more fun than the Dalaran Heist, purely because cross-class deckbuilding is always fun....also the overall powerlevel seems higher, which is great since the main problem in Dalaran was that at some point (especially the last chapter) you were basically forced to have a specific broken combo to actually beat the bosses.
Also, having only 4 heroes makes beating eevery chapter with each of them much less tedious than in Dalaran.
So not so. I've beaten the last chapter with lots of different builds. Some just strong and trim (a good "remove 4 minions from your deck" is clutch), some with all manner of broken combos. That one time with Banana Split and Test Subject woo, that was fun.
If Tombs has powerfuller cards, I look forward to powerfuller enemies!
ofc there are multiple combos but they all rely on specific interaction to be worth running. I beat it on Rogue with Pogo Hoppers because I got lucky enough to get double battlecry anomaly and found a couple Zilliax + the Bar boost that gives you multiple copies of a minion.
Point is that because of the RNG and the vast power differences between certain buckets and treasures certain runs are just doomed from the start
You mean Karl survived?! this changes everything. What will happen when he and George meet while on opposing sides? The plot thickens.
Dino Tracking is absolutely busted. I can't wait to play with that Hero Power.
Jr navigator and maxwell, mighty steed would be so great as actual legendaries. Still a bit op though
Brann's Epic Egg is epic! Up to 5 King Krush from 1 card is ridiculous!
Wow, this either makes me giddy with the OP dungeon run that must result from cards/powers this broken, or concerned how strong the bosses must be to be able to offer any kind of challenge. Either way I love the solo content and am really looking forward to the release!
Omg those cards are broken. Bosses' difficulty must have been upgraded or something
The cards's images are playful, in character, and the effects are quite broken and I love it!
Interesting. With Elise's passive HP after you cast 2 spells and obtain the first Moonfire, you have to use only one of your own spells + the generated Moonfire, in order to continue the spell chain. People will probably save the 0-cost cards for later, but if there is Malygos on the board for example and you need burst ASAP, you can continue this chain with relative ease.
I'd dive into her tomb.
Those Hero powers and treasures are insane! With Elise's Starseeker Hero Power, Jr. Navigator and Regenerate or Topsy Turvy you can have a long but obvious OTK! Radiant Elemental with Barkskin and all the other 1 mana buff spells targeting Jr. Navigator will work too. I can't wait to find more in-game!
This site is so much more stellar than the other one.
Amazing write up! So easy to follow and help plan...
^^Rubbing Hands^^
I love the absolutely broken stuff that they roll out for adventures. Staff of Renewal? Truesilver Lance? These are so far beyond what game balance could manage, they will be so fun to dominate the AI with!
So that's what the Scales of Justice is all about
Just notticed, there is this text twice, both for Elise and Brann:
This is the upgraded Navigator when you defeat all 4 chapters.
Brann's text should be fixed from Navigator to Excavator.
The art of New "Recruits" promised so much, but the Amalgam Explorer token just re-uses some old art for it. Pity.
At least Reno Jackson has the art we all wanted it to have.
I know it's only a week away, but is there more fun datamined content coming or is this the bulk of it? New treasures? Bosses? Bob? Tavern Brawl chalkboards? etc?
