We've got information overload for you when it comes to the bounties in Hearthstone Mercenaries. Before we jumping into a ton of data though, we should first look at what bounties are.
Please remember that datamined information is subject to change as the content is not yet released and is based on our best attempt to interpret the client.
What Are Hearthstone Mercenaries Bounties?
Bounties are the primary PVE component of Hearthstone Mercenaries. You can accept a Bounty via the Bounty Board that is found inside of the Village's Travel Point (Top of the Village) and this will open up a procedurally generated map for you to fight on. The boss of each Bounty will always be the same, but your path up to the boss will be different every time. Below you can find an example of a map featuring a boss at the top beside a reward chest.
When exploring your generated map, you will find different types of events and branching paths where you can participate in Fights, Elite Encounters, and Non-Combat Events.
Any experience earn during your Bounty is kept permanently, so if you die during your Bounty, you can simply return to camp and start again with better Mercenaries.
The bounty board will also display a recommended level for your Party to venture into the Bounty itself, so keep that in mind before jumping in. Bounties also have a secondary difficulty level, Heroic, which increases the level recommendation and makes things quite a bit harder. A third difficulty level, Legendary, being planned for a future update.
What Rewards Do Mercenaries Bounties Give You?
The reward for completing a Bounty is Mercenary coins.
You will receive some Mercenary Coins for the Mercenaries that are in your party. Additionally, you will receive Mercenary Coins for a Mercenary that is associated with that Bounty. With Bounties being infinitely repeatable, this allows you to farm Coins for specific Mercenaries so you can craft them or upgrade them faster.
This pool of Mercenaries that is associated with each Bounty is static and we've got the details on those on our Bounty and Mercenary pages.
Show Me the Bounties!
We've compiled a database, that is certainly not entirely complete yet, which features each of the different bounties you can take on. More information will be added to these pages as we learn more about the game mode once it launches.

Now the only question in terms of the economics I have for this mode is the probabilities of portraits showing up in packs. And when it shows up, what are the probabilities of different rarities. And this is an important question in terms of the decision making on whether you should buy the pre-orders or not.
You are not going to get this info prior to tens of thousands of ppl opening their merc packs and even after that it will only be an approximation.
This is all some amazing info to disseminate. Thanks OoC crew!
Looks like the bounties that drop coins for all three of the pre-order mercenaries require level 30 mercenaries to attempt. We don’t know how good those mercenaries actually are, though Diablo seems strong, but it does increase the value of the pre-orders a bit.
Of course the coins for those mercenaries can drop from packs but two of them are legendary so that’s a lot of packs. Another option is getting lucky with a portrait but we don’t really know the probabilities on those either.
Additional to default rewards from bounties you also get at least one reward for one of your current team members.
So lets say you have diablo in party => finishing air elementals bounty will give you Rokkarra tokens and might giv you diablo tokens because he was in your team.
All three are strong, and all three are the legendaries.
