I wish more offers were like this one. It's the closest thing to a "fair" price from Blizz.
It’s “fair” because those other offers set our expectations. If packs in the store normally cost 3 for a dollar, we’d think that price was too much and wonder why we didn’t have more deals like the 5-for-a-dollar welcome deal.
Ain't that the truth. Mercs is a side game to HS and yet they bill the cost of packs equally.
Wait, so the welcome bundle isn't going to stick around for any new player who happens to join later? What's the difference between it and the launch bundle then? I thought the point was that it was a bundle for new players, that's what the main Hearthstone one as for...
Did the main Hearthstone "welcome bundle" also get retired and I just didn't notice?
The point is to pressure undecided ppl to buy it right now, most likely to milk as much as possible from the game mode for the last quarter.
You can bet there are going to be new deals in the future. Hard to say if they r going to be as good as this one.
This bundle should have been the standard price range, not a unique exception. Sadly, that was not the case.
