Hearthstone's Latest Addition of Dual-Class Arena Ends When Alterac Valley Releases

Published 4 years ago by

We've got confirmation that the dual-class Arena is here to stay a bit longer than the Hallow's End event!

Blizzard's newest recruit, Alkali Layke, has started her community-facing role with a confirmation we'll see dual-class Arena until the launch of Alterac Valley. Though, we certainly don't want to put any words in her mouth because she didn't say anything about Alterac Valley, only that it would be until the next expansion. Why are we talking about Alterac Valley? Because we datamined it as being Hearthstone's next expansion.

Are you looking forward to an extended availability of dual-class Arena? Have you had any fun games in the mode yet? Let us know your experiences in the comments below or head on over to our Arena forums to discuss.

One of the biggest ? in my dms this week:

Q:How long will arena be Dual Class?

  • Wish we had the chance to chose for those that just enjoy normal arena. The queue time is fine anyway.

    So bad news

  • As a person who plays mostly Arenas, I may say this is a bad news as this whole mode is soooo unstable and random (when arena is already random is most cases)

  • To be honest, completely forgot about dual arena 😅 well, at least i will have a chance to get some salt in 😎

  • I'm assuming this includes Diablo in Duels and Battlegrounds? Or will he say for longer? Haven't had a chance to play him yet

  • Friendly Edit: I think it should be "Edition" not "Addition".

    • I was also slightly confused when I read the headline. Don't understand why people are downvoting you...

      • Me neither!

  • Very good news.  Some of us haven't even had a chance to play it yet.  1 month seems like a good amount of time for an event like this.
