NEW ARMOR SYSTEM
Introducing the Battlegrounds Armor System! Starting in patch 21.8, Battlegrounds heroes will be awarded Armor at the start of each game to help balance and spice up the Tavern. All heroes will get a random amount of Armor from within a range, based on their power levels, with the strongest heroes getting 0 Armor and the weakest heroes being eligible for up to 10 Armor. At launch, these will be the Armor ranges and placements:
Our plan is to review these ranges and placements as part of our Battlegrounds balancing going forward, but we also want to hear your feedback on this new system after you play with it. The system may come in and out of the mode from patch to patch as we refine the system and introduce other new features or major changes.
NEW HERO
Tamsin Roame
- Fragrant Phylactery [Costs 0]
- Start of Combat: Destroy your lowest Health minion. Give its Health to all your others.
Players with Battlegrounds Perks will have early access to Tamsin Roame before the Hero is formally released on November 30.

why they made pirate more op?????
i mean quillboar 100% needed a buff since no one plays it cuase of it long game need
Played a bit of BG today, unless i missed something, when I was Cariel, I got 7 Armor. In next lobby enemy Cariel got 9 Armor, so there is either random element or there is some internal mechanism that fine tunes few points of Armor based on the lobby Hero picks. I guess thats why the tiers dont have one specific Armor value but rather a small range.
Also Tamsin seems super weak, but i havent seen anyone to try and trigger deathrattle with her hp, which imho might be more powerful than the hp buff in a right composition.
Glad Mythrax is back, huge improvement for menagerie.:)
OH MY GOODY GOODNESS Tamsin's hero power is "Fragrant Phylactery" and in book of mercs she had Tamsin's Perfume it wasn't perfume it was a phylactery which is how shes rezzed as a lich in alterac now the art is even phylactery looking!
Ysara Tier 1? I guess I should be picking her more. Galewing and Cookie being all the way up there is also surprising to me, but maybe I’m just bad with them. Blizzard tier lists are interesting and we will always know what blizz thinks is best based on armor
Ysera's only as good as dragons are in the current meta. And dragons are pretty strong right now, especially with Tarecgosa and Prized Promo-Drake. As far as tribe-centric heroes go, she's definitely one of the better ones. Then both Galewing and Cookie essentially get a free minion every 3 turns, which is always powerful even if that minion isn't one you necessarily need. Otherwise there are definitely some questionable choices in all of the different tier ranks
Yeah all three of them seem T2 to me. Obviously they are good, why are you telling me their hero powers?
Still nothing about Diablos last Treasure for Duels? How long do they want to keep this *limited time* character around?
