New Hearthstone Arena Rotation with 'Fractured in Alterac Valley' - Don't Forget Your "Free" Tavern Ticket!

When Fractured in Alterac Valley launches on December 7, the Dual-Class Arena will come to a close and the new rotation will include following sets:

  • Fractured in Alterac Valley
  • Saviors of Uldum
  • Kobolds and Catacombs
  • League of Explorers
  • Scholomance Academy
  • The Boomsday Project
  • Core

"Free" Tavern Ticket

Since the new rotation will not only add new sets but also remove some, we should expect a free Tavern Ticket for our unfinished Arena runs. As per usual, start an Arena run, leave it at X wins and a maximum of 2 losses and get a reward equal to the amount of wins you left the run with, plus a Tavern Ticket when your run gets retired with the rotation.

Don't forget that Arena entries generally close a few hours prior to the expansion launch based on your server time. Don't leave it for last minute!

The Tavern Ticket!

  • There will be a new duels season also right? So you can do the same thing with heroic duels?

    • I don't think so, the difference last time was the inclusion of Diablo in the Hero Pool... But we can always hope! lol

  • Does this Arena "free ticket" work for heroic duels as well?

    • Yes, ever since they were renamed to Tavern Ticket, they can be redeemed both in Arena and Duels.

      • Yes, but the article only mentions getting the free ticket from unfinished arena runs. I know the ticket will work for both, but I'm just making sure I can get it from both as well.

        • Im not really sure about Duels thats why I didnt mention it. I dont think we will get it for Duels run, but I guess we'll see

    • The tickets are interchangeable.

  • Long ago I got a free Arena ticket and started leaving it uncompleted. 8 or 9 free packs later I have no want or need to complete the runs.
