Comments
Is it possible to link your primary account first and link the alternate account after receiving the packs from the first one?
Does anyone know?
If it's really alternate account (not just another region of main account), then it's possible. Not sure that it work as you described, but surely (and easier) it will work if you create new twitch account and link it to alternate acc.
Free packs is good and I don't mind watching the stream but Choose-Your-Champ was kinda cool :(
Actually, I read the full document of elegible countries and found that we, brazilians, and the mexicans aren't elegible for the random drops.
I learned it the hard way, after 20+ hours of stream without a single one random drop.
The "normal" drops came normally, though.
So, if you are brazilian or mexican, be advised.
(Sorry for the bad english)
Man, just 5 contries of Latin America get drops, the rest of us can cry in a corner =(
For us, Europeans it is an acceptable 21:00 CEST
Not sure I like this new reward system since although it guarantees more packs instead of the gamble of choose your champion it seems like a high demand for low rewards that sometimes don't even go through.
Not a fan of having to keep my computer logged into twitch for 6 hours as well.
I despise this on principle, since they are literally buying views. Then they will run their annual statistics and boast about how much viewership the tournaments get, similar to how they boasted in the past about the "number of players" which in fact was number of accounts created, not active players. Blah.
Im all for free stuff for players, but this is a shady way of going about it.
Completely Agree to this Sinti
not sure why you are being downvoted so much. This is a perfectly reasonable point of view to have.
Now I can't extend my streak of 0 packs from my champions *rage*
Oh, they're not doing Choose Your Champion anymore? I might actually get 0 packs this time since BlizzCon is at somewhat challenging hours for me.
I'm floored that Choose Your Champion has not be announced. This will be the most eyeballs on Hearthstone since its, ya know, BlizzCon and they'll be talking about a new set. Though, 5 packs for idling for 6 hours is a lot better than the 2 packs we were getting before.
They also didn't mention what type of packs you'd get in the random drops, so I'm assuming those too are Uldum packs, I just find it weird they didn't 100% clarify that. Definitely inferred by how they wrote the post, but part of me thinks it was an error and we're getting classic ones lol.
they always do classic packs on the random 1500 packs, I don't expect this time to be different
They've always stated "classic card pack" in the blog post which is why I feel like they made a mistake by not including the set name this time around.

Just open the stream before going to bed, turn of the screen if you want to and boooom, you wake up with 5 lovely cardpack
Switching to 120p and muting the tab can also do wonders for those who will be active during that time!
I hadn't thought of it, but yeah, switching to the lowest possible resolution before muting and going to sleep does improve the odds you wont wake up to 'An Error Occurred' with the screen froze and no time accumulated for the giveaways. And even if you are up and just running it in the background, yes, much less bandwidth reduced from your other activities.
Brilliant! You get an upvote!
