  • Nice to have in druid. And that's about it.

10 mana is bad enough, but at very least onyxia will likely clear the board, this card will only ever clear two minions at most. The only thing going for it is that you can never leave it alive the next turn. But this practically applies to just about anything with more than 7 attack anyway.

Is there a reason why'd anyone play this over Lokholar the Ice Lord? Druids gets a free pass because they'd usually be playing 10 drops on turn 6. But for every other class, reaching turn 10 without being nearly dead would be an achievement in of itself.

    • If the hands aren't cleared then Neptulon will threaten 24 damage (16 from Neptulon attacking twice and the hands individually) for the next turn but they're not that hard to clear so eh.

Also, I would say that this is a bit better than Lokholar because this has way more board presence.

      • On turn 10 there's no doubt its the better card than lokholar. But most decks dont last till turn 10, and lokholar can cost as low as 5. Ive seen lokholar do very ridiculous stuff before, and that's because it covers your back in case you're facing an aggro deck. This card doesn't do that, and unfortunately for it, unless the meta turns back to value or druids, then I'd be slotting icelord over neptulon any day - that is to say if I have to pick between the two.

  • worst onyxia

  • Pretty cool card (and good artwork)

but unless got elemental synergies feels like a worse raidboss onyxia overall at 10 mana

So if sees play i feel like its gonna be due elemental synergies or where can afford it and a 2nd Onyxia  is still usefull

    • It's a better onyxia if there's two big threats, less so if you need to spread your damage out

  • Avalon, can you tell me the winning lotery numbers for next saturday? Your predictions are on point!

    • Hehehe

  • Can't wait to put this into Handlock.

On a serious note, good luck against Druids, they can play Onyxia twice now lmao.
