It would seem that the previous Twitter social post about "something big and secret" might've actually been a sneaky misdirection for a true cosplay contest, as today's fresh Blizzard blog post finally came out of nowhere to give us a preview of the upcoming Patch 24.6. While at it, they've also confirmed our earlier suspicions regarding the 'leaked' Twitch Drops campaign - the big new expansion announcement is indeed slated to happen on November 1, at 10 AM Pacific!

Make sure to tune in for the most exciting news and your free Castle Nathria pack - we'll certainly remind you again next week, seeing as the whole thing is only going to last half an hour. The open campaign for Hearthstone isn't yet back or visible on Twitch, as it has been promptly removed once the early reveal rumors started circulating. We can probably expect to see the drops sneakily re-added at a later date, closer to the whole thing.

Patch 24.6 is nearly upon us, and it’s a big one! To cram it all in, we’re giving a sneak peek at some of the new features and more to look out for, coming soon.

Twitch Drop for Announcement Stream!

It all kicks off on November 1 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on our Announcement Stream, where we’ll reveal Hearthstone’s next expansion and more! Tune in to Twitch.tv/playhearthstone for just 15 minutes of the roughly 30-minute Announcement to earn a free Murder at Castle Nathria pack, but make sure you show up on time because you’ll want to catch the whole show! If you haven’t done so already, be sure to link your Battle Net and Twitch account to be eligible for Drops.

Remember, the third and final expansion of the ongoing Year of the Hydra is meant to be bigger than normal and somehow tie into the year of "Classic World of Warcraft in Hearthstone". Both Voyage to the Sunken City and Murder at Castle Nathria heavily leaned into such already established lore of the larger universe.

Now we can enter the realm of next expansion speculation for real. Death Knights or no Death Knights? Something else nobody would've ever seen coming?
