Hearthstone's newest expansion, Festival of Legends, was announced today with a clutch of new card reveals but there were apparently a few more lurking in the shadows - the Expansion Announcement Press Kit that Blizzard sent out (and then disappeared) contained 9 more cards that weren't displayed in the announcement blog post, including a new Priest location and a spicy Legendary Paladin spell.
Do any of these new cards tickle your fancy? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Now we just need to patiently wait for these cards to be added to the OoC DB so we can vote on them 🙃
Well, new cards;
- Starlight Groove is interesting but its so difficult to justify in anything other than control pally. And then there's two other issues with that; first tutoring this because Knight of Anointment wouldnt be in standard anymore, and then having enough holy spells to annoy or deny the opponent. Most of the time its best function would be to negate damage from your weapon swings, because 90% of the time your opponent will simply ping your shield away before stomping your face.
It can also negate damage off the blood pally cards but you'll never run this card just to do that, its neither consistent enough and playing 3 mana no board is kinda harsh.
- Fan Club would probably be one of the more important priest card in this set and beyond.
- The One-Amalgam Band probably cant gain charge, because if it does then it justify playing a bs zoo-like deck. What a shame, because its completely worthless otherwise.
- Void Virtuoso is great in wild, but in standard there's really not many cards that take advantage of it. I'd suspect that this expansion will provide more cards that damages self for warlock.
Starlight Groove - this one will be annoying like hell
The One-Amalgam Band - I think there won't be any menagerie deck, but this card could be nice choice to discover, it reminds me Siamat (actually, how does it synergize with other amalgams?)
Beatboxer - I smell OTK rogue
Hipster - reverse Pandaren Importer
Void Virtuoso - this one is nice, it negates cons from many warlock cards or HP and it costs only 1 mana. Good that Bloodbloom was nerfed or it would be part of some sick combo.
IIRC, "All" is defined as its own thing in this situation; you didn't play all minion types, you played the All minion type, so it would only count once.
Dagnabbit, this means that card I almost submitted to the Two Tribe competition would have worked. Curses!
I feel like Starlight Groove exists purely to spite the people who were waiting for Cariel to rotate (arguably this is not as good as Cariel, but it's still a powerful anti aggro tool)
Amalgam Band looks kinda funny, but I wonder what the actual keywords are. Surely this fucker won't get Charge, right?
Banshee looks like it could help Blood DK be proactive instead of sitting around waiting to be OTKd
Beatboxer makes me think we're not gonna see Shadowstep in Core again
Brass Elemental is boring ball of stats which at this point appears to be part of Shaman's class identity.
Void Virtuoso might be really good, but I doubt you can build a functioning self-harm build if it relies on a 1-drop to stay alive
Piper gives me hope for Beast Druid
Fan Club is just efficient healing
Hipster is just funny
You can see Amalgam Band in the cinematic. It looks like it gains Rush, Poisonous, Stealth, Windfury, Taunt, and Reborn.
No Lifesteal? I guess that makes it a lot worse as a build-around
Then again, aren't there more tribes than keywords you just listed?
Maybe it's also impossible to gain all the keywords at once.
It also has Divine Shield on closer inspection. Here's a list of all the static ability keywords that would make sense and all the minion types (alphabetically):
Beast -- Divine Shield
Demon -- Lifesteal
Dragon -- Poisonous
Elemental -- Reborn
Mech -- Rush
Murloc -- Stealth
Naga -- Spell Damage +1
Pirate -- Taunt
Quilboar -- Windfury
Totem --
Undead --
There are just barely more minions that logical keywords, so you do hit a cap eventually. It won't be an issue for regular gameplay, though.
This longer reveal-video explains which keywords they're using for the The One-Amalgam Band, among other things: it'll be all of those except Spell Damage.
