A new Hearthstone event is coming for the release of Showdown in the Badlands, and there's a bunch of new packs to obtain and a Rafaam Warlock skin! You can earn:
- 2 Showdown in the Badlands Packs
- 5 Catch-Up Packs
- Trader Rafaam Warlock Hero Skin
Blizzard has not yet given us details on the new quests we can expect from the event, but we'll be able to datamine those tomorrow when the patch arrives.

I don't know what the hell an avif file is, but that's what I got when I tried to open the image in a new tab because it wasn't loading.
Are you using Edge, by chance?
Apparently it's like the only browser that doesn't support the image format.
I am. Funny how it works in Chrome, since Edge is based on Chromium. I wonder if it's just an older Chromium, or if Microsoft is doing some weird shit.
Good to know, yeah it looks like support in Edge is considered experimental and you can enable to with a special flag.
No clue why its experimental considering it s on chromium lmao. Well, we'll refrain from using avifs going forward. Sometimes we get avif files and don't convert them but that's not a great experience if Edge is going to be silly. Thanks.
Feel free to use avif now, since it's now supported by default in Edge.
