The official Hearthstone Twitter account made a post teasing changes coming to the game in a future patch. In Standard, Molten Giant, Showdown! and Thirsty Drifter will all receive changes, though it doesn't specify if they'll be nerfs or buffs (almost certainly the former). The bulk of the pach, however, will be with Battlegrounds, where 39 cards will be affected by nerfs and buffs, or by being moved in and out of rotation, with two more card changes in the Duos mode.

Ticking Module escapes a 2nd nerf, how shocking. As for Showdown!, making it 3 mana does make the card thematically consistent which I hope does happen but highly doubt it'll knock Flood Paladin really hard. Honestly think all these flood decks are carried by Ticking Module but ok Blizzard, lets go with nerfing these cards instead. The only other option would be to nerf Pylon Module seeing as that module is only seen in flood decks
Poor Molten Giant paying for the sins of other cards once again. Prediction: this will not break Seedlock's stranglehold on Wild.
Showdown is an interesting choice for the Paladin card to hit. I don't think it's a bad target, but there are three Paladin archetypes that are crushing it and I think this only really hurts Flood.
Thirsty Drifter taking a bullet for Dragon Priest, here.
As for Battlegrounds: quillboar are overwhelming right now; lobbies with quillboar see some pretty perverse leveling patterns as people race to try and get the good quillboar. Pirates and elementals have been pretty rough. Naga overdepend on Deep Blues; I fret they'll be toast if that hit to Crooner amounts to much.
I doubt Wild is much of a consideration in the Molten Giant change. This is an attempt to slow down Pain Warlock in Standard, nothing more.
