A new bundle has appeared in the Hearthstone shop - The Wild Bundle!
- The bundle costs $15 USD.
- You can only buy the bundle if you have reached at least Rank 25.
- You get 24 card packs, 3 packs each of the current Wild-only expansions.
- Card packs come from Classic, Goblins vs Gnomes, The Grand Tournament, Whispers of the Old Gods, Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, Journey to Un'Goro, Knights of the Frozen Throne, and Kobolds & Catacombs.
Are you planning on picking up the Wild bundle? Do you think this is bundle is good value?

As someone who kept everything, I know that would put a smile on my face, but I fully understand those who dusted their Wild collection.
I suppose it is fine as long as the existing Standard format remains the same (give or take a few changes to Classic as usual), and the 'new Standard' is a 3rd format.
I don't think they would do that. That would alienate a lot of players, and honestly makes no sense. It hurts Standard players, it hurts returning players, and it completely eviscerates new players.
What they might do is implement a third Ranked mode, with rotating sets like Arena and the Brawl Block tavern brawls. A lot of people want that.
I hate that you put this bad juju out into the universe, and I hate even more that it makes sense.
I play Wild as much or more than Standard, and good lord do the two not need to mix. The Doom in the Tomb meta in October was terrible - I was (and am) still a believer in the conspiracy that they designed that meta to be so oppressively stale because they wanted to drive people into trying Batlegrounds..
But yeah between the obvious connotations of "Phoenix = Rebirth/Return" and them giving the "old + new" a try with Doom in the Tomb, I can see this happening and I will be sad if it does.
the worst part about it is that if there is a mix of Standard and Wild expansions, even cards that were previously useless and are far too weak for Wild (and were therefore safe to disenchant by any metric) might be needed..
So basically they'D be going back on their word and that will be the point I'll just drop the game alltogether, even if I have more than enough dust to still play it.
oooh that's not a bad idea
but damnit that means some of us will have to actually get the wild sets to have a complete and viable collection!
I love wild bundle packs. I am totally going to be getting this.
As Wild continues to grow, these bundles for Wild should be a “build your own bundle” style. “Choose any combination of # wild packs for $.” Maybe next year they’ll do something like that as opposed to 1-2 packs from every Wild set...
The other option is bundles for a specific “year”, with the exception being the first two years grouped together to exclude Adventures.
I do think the bundle is good value. As someone who rarely if ever plays wild, but still has a good collection; this bundle could be worth a lot of dust going into the new hearthstone year.
