Conjurer's Calling is the only bad possible targeted spell that I can think of
and even that one'S debatable since there's a good chance whatever you CC was either small or will get removed by any of the other 4 spells

Yeah, because mage is notorious for having buff spells.
Literally my first thought, but since it only says mage spells . . . . the really bad rolls are conjurers, book of specters, and that's about it? The rest of the spell line up for mage either damages your opponents board (shooting star, blizzard, pryoblast), casts a secret for you, or doesn't target opponents (aka unexpected results, Arcane intellect).
And Book of Specters is rotating out of standard anyway.
Mages don't even have buff spells.
