If you have spell damage +2 from an Imprisoned Phoenix, then 2 Frostbolts, 2 Ice Lances and 2 Glacier Racers is 28 damage for just 8 mana. It shouldn't be too hard to find 1 extra spell damage or do some chip damage in the early game.
