Greedy Evolution Shaman

In a meta where aggro decks are running rampant, you wouldn't expect a super greedy Evolve Shaman like this to succeed, but we're batting a 7-1 winrate with this (what we thought would be a) meme deck. Did we roll Warrior 3 times and Priest 2 times? Yes, and Warlock as well as Shaman with the only loss to a Demon Hunter. So, you know, the matchups were slanted towards Control, but still... It's a lot of fun, and apparently a bit stronger than we expected going into it!

Enough intro... Let's get into the deck! So, Primal Dungeoneer is the main new card that makes this deck a lot more consistent at drawing Boggspine Knuckles. We're running Lightning Bloom as our only spell, which will be guaranteed to draw Cagematch Custodian, which allows us to ensure we have at least one copy of the Knuckles in hand by the time we're able to build a decent board.

Now, the base of this deck is actually from wiRer, and we thought we'd wreck it by taking it in a far greedier direction (dropping a Meeting Stone, 2 Wandmakers, Archdruid Naralex, and the Selfless Sidekicks for a second Bogstrok Clacker, 2 Venomous Scorpids, a Darkmoon Rabbit, and Y'Shaarj, the Defiler), but as mentioned, it has performed quite well, and feels really fun to play!

In more aggressive match ups, you just forget about using the Darkmoon Rabbit to corrupt the Carnival Clowns which would allow us to flood the board with Clowns 4 times with help from Y'Shaarj (which is awesome to evolve into a board of 10 drops when you've got Boggspine Knuckles equipped by the way...). Rather, you fight for the board with as many of the low cost cards as possible searching for removal or healing from the Venomous Scorpid and smacking the enemy minions with the Knuckles even if you're only evolving 1 or 2 minions. Because, once you get to the late game, you have the resources to completely overwhelm them.

This is the most fun Shaman I've played since before the Galakrond cards were nerfed! If you'd like to see the deck in action, we've got a gameplay highlight video at https://youtu.be/a6tvNfcif3A or below. Have fun experimenting!
