Welcome to Token Druid with a twist! I've always been kind sad when my hero power as Druid didn't have enough attack to create favorable trades, so I decided to shove in Baku the Mooneater and see how it went. It went pretty well! Climbing from rank 15 up, I've had a 9-3 winrate as of writing this guide, and this was before SoU actually released. The new cards that the new expansion brings will definitely increase the power level of the deck.

General Game Plan:

Your main goal in this deck is to curve out. I've found that 8 1-drops is fairly consistent, and prevents your hand from getting clogged by them in the mid-game. Fire Fly is your main mulligan target as well as another 1-drop and any 3-drop that isn't Savage Roar.

Crypt Lord is useful against other token/aggro decks, as it essentially heals itself when you summon more minions, making it a trading machine. The high health total is also annoying for faster decks to get over.

Living Mana on curve is devastating, especially if your oponent has already AoE'd the board, which is very likely considering how many minions you pump out in the first few turns. Even if they do manage to board clear your Living Mana, you've only used 1 card to force a clear, which means you still have a relatively healthy hand to puke out more minions.

Turn 8+ is when this deck starts to fall off hard. That's not to say that it can't win, but after this turn, you're gonna begin losing out very quickly to to value/control decks like Shaman and Priest. This deck does have an incredible amount of burst, however. Even having 2 minions on board can be lethal thanks to Savage Roar and your Hero Power. Druid of the Claw is useful for burst, as Panther Form + Savage Roar is at least 8 damage. Having your opponent at 14-18 health is usually a lethal setup.

Card Choices:

Ironbeak Owl Card Image is a must, as taunt is cheat, and me go face SMOrc. In all seriousness, it get around annoying taunts like Sludge Belcher to push for more face damage, and can protect your board by silencing a Doomsayer if your minions can't kill it for some reason (probably because they're frozen).

Zilliax Card Image is a good card in general, but it synergizes particularly well with this deck. It can trade very efficiently and has rush, and gets even better if you can buff it with Blessing of the Ancients or Savage Roar. Even just playing a taunt with divine shield to protect you smaller minions from a 1 beefy boi can help wing the game in favor. Definitely try to add this card to your collection, you won't regret it.

Dr. Boom Card Image, aka Dr. 7 is part of your late game push if the game lasts that long. The Boombots he summons are notorious for dealing damage to face, so use that to your advantage. The split bodies also go well with your buff cards. 7/7 card, would craft again.

Cenarius Card Image is very slow, but is very flexible. If you have a board on turn 9, go for the +2/+2 to all minions. If you don't have the board on turn 9, then the 2 Treants with taunt can help swing the game back in your favor. Not necessarily a must have, but still very useful.

One glaring weakness with this deck is card draw. Many cards in our deck can generate cards to keep our hand at a decent size, but cards become very scarce later in the game. Topdecking and wrecking is most definitely encouraged.
