10-3 Zoolock
- Zoolock
- Tavern Brawl
- Casual
This is the deck I played in the current brawl. As you can see, I managed to achieve 10 victories with it. Sudoku Zoolock can be a real monster and for a good reason - the Neferset Thrasher-Diseased Vulture combo is busted af. Before I continue with the guide, I would like to say the following:
Quote From No Author Specified Control warriors are super annoying. I strongly recommend adding Tekahn and some friends, in order to make your late-game better against that archtype. If you do this, I suggest removing both Soulfires, Hench-Clan Hogsteeds and the mechs for 2 EVIL Cable Rats, 2 Sinister Deals, 2 EVIL Recruiters and Dark Pharaoh Tekahn (obviously).I didn't add him in the first place only because I don't have him yet and I didn't want to include something, I haven't tested out.
Mulligan:
In order to have a very smooth gameplan, I recommend mulliganing like so:
- against aggro - find 1- and 2-Cost minions (the best ones being Crystallizer, Voidwalker, Hench-Clan Hogsteed and EVIL Genius/Dire Wolf Alpha (if you have one of those minions)). If you find Magic Carpet, keep it at all cost.
- against combo and control - a 1-drop, a 2-drop, Neferset Thrasher and Diseased Vulture would be the dream scenario. But if you find many cheap minions to play in the first few turns, you will be fine.
Strategy:
Against aggro. Being ahead on tempo is the most crucial strategy here. Hench-Clan Hogsteed and Magic Carpet are the MVPs. Annoying sticky threats can be easily dealt with, if you cast Spirit Bomb on them and follow up with a Nethersoul Buster on the same turn. Use Spellbreaker, in order to deal with the opponent's taunts, magnetized mechs and buffed minions.
Against control. Against this particular play-style it's very important to apply as much pressure as possible early on, so that the opponent doesn't manage to overcome it. At the same time, play around certain board clears (Brawl, Warpath) by not commiting too many threats on the board. In this particular MU the minions from the self-hurting package will be the MVPs, so use them wisely.

Went 4-3, lost to a mirror, a control mech paladin, and a control warrior with Boom on curve. Great deck though! It was worth it just to steamroll most warrior matchups.
Sorry to hear, that your run ended so fast. I hope you achieve more victories on your next try, even if you run a completely new deck.
Thank you! The deck was so fun even with the fast run that I would love to run it in Standard!
Deck seems good. I had something very similar in mind to try on my first run, so I'm definitely using this deck for it. Later, I will upload my results here. Thanks for sharing, Kovachut!!! :) :) :)
Good luck. Just add Tekahn and a lackey package, in order to stand better chances against the control warriors.
I didn't do well with the modifications I personally made to your deck in the Tavern Brawl. :( :( :( Since I really wasn't testing exactly your deck and it was notably different to the source (at least in my opinion), I thought it wasn't fair to blame it on the slightest. :) :) :) Just wanted to make that clear, hehe. :P :P :P
Well, sorry for your bad experience in the TB. I hope you have greater success next time. :)
Thanks!!! :)
I lost the first 2 rounds, but then went 12 wins. Thanks for the pack and 300g.
Glad to hear about your success. GJ.
May I suggest you to run Shieldbreaker instead of Spellbreaker? If you really think about it, you usually run Silence for Taunts and not for other effects. So, you would have 2 more mana in order to find lethal.
Interesting idea. Thank you for suggesting it.
I think, that in some cases Shieldbreaker would really be better due to her cheap cost, but I kinda want to run Spellbreaker for now in case I stumble upon rogues (edwin) or some mech decks. Still, I have to play some games and decide what would be stronger.
