How to pilot this deck

WELCOME!

Another "Out of Budget" deck for another class. In "Out of Budget" deck-series, my aim is to create a deck that consists of only Free/Common/Rare cards. Thus, if you want to build a deck from my "Out of Budget" series, it will cost 3000 dust at most. This time, it's Secret Mage and it has boosted well with Uldum expansion. Let's see why, shall we?

HOW TO PLAY?

It's very simple to guide: Pull out Secrets from your deck via Mad Scientist/Ancient Mysteries and cheat them out via Kabal Lackey/Kirin Tor Mage if needed. After you played your Secrets thanks to Kabal Lackey/Kirin Tor Mage, you can either grow Secretkeeper or play your 0-Mana Kabal Crystal Runner. Then, burn your foes with Medivh's Valet/Forgotten Torch/Fireball/Cloud Prince to greet them by fire. By fire, be purged! If you are out of gas, Jeeves is here to fuel you up, just like Aluneth, don't you think?

That's all for this deck. If you have any questions, ask me right away! Until next time for another "Out of Budget" deck-series and have fun in Wild format!

  • But Goblin Blastmage works well with Mech decks and Jeeves is the only one to proc his ability. Also, why exchange Arcanologist with Ancient Mysteries? Having 0-Cost Secret will sure help to proc the ability of Cloud Prince on turn 5. No words for Babbling Book as it's a filler card in all honesty 🙄

I appreciate your feedback, however, and thanks for the compliment.

  • I have been playing around with Secret Mage too. I found Arcane Flakmage to be good against aggro along with Flame Ward.

    • But, in Wild, Secret Mage is based on burning your opponent to his/her face, not as a Control archetype. However, if that's what your heart desires, feel free to do so.
