Hagatha: "Why have you brought us all the way to Uldum, Rafaam?
You never really told us what your plan was."

Rafaam: "Don't worry, friends, you'll SEE it all soon..."

Lazul: "What da ya mean?"

Rafaam: "Let's just say we will have a great VIEW on our success..."

Boom: "I don't understand."

Rafaam: "We won't have to LOOK out for heroes anymore. Do you SEE the pattern here?"

Togwaggle: "Uhmm... Shiny?"

Rafaam: "Uh... Never mind. Take a day off, EYE will take care of it."

WHISPERLOCK

With your host Arch-Villain Rafaam!

"I was told you have heard of other Old decks, but this one is unlike anything you have ever seen before! (Much like me.) Since my team doesn't seem fit for the job, you will have to help. It's a simple matter of unleashing an Old God, nothing that hasn't been done before.
So what do you say? I might buy you an ice cream cone if you do good."

"Our preparations are mainly similar to other Old decks.
So if you know them, clog your ears, hum a catchy tune and wait until I'm done."

"Whenever you play a creepy hooded livid minion, the power of our boss increases.
This is why playing such creatures should be your priority. You should also know that not
one, but TWO princes have agreed to aid you as long as you help the boss.

"Your job is to ruthlessly kill any non-yours minion that appears on the plain. Since this deck has many minions, you can freely ram them into any creature you want. But try to keep focused on other minions, as it can help our boss. Once you have control of the plain, your work should be easy."

"You probably want to know how to unleash the boss. If there is any part of my vast knowledge I want you to keep, it's that you always need to search for local merchants.
I can't even count how many times I robbed museums while I was hungry. It really takes your mind away from important things, like world domination. If you start to think this is not a good idea, visit the nearest Soulwarden for spirit emptying and you'll be just fine."

"I'm afraid I can't help you summon our boss. You see, I have some... Business... Uhm, yes, not very close. Very far. I mean, sort of far away. You don't have to worry, friend. I would never leave you alone with a god of madness and chaos if it were dangerous and unstable. Also, could you not tell the rest of my team that I'm leaving? The boss will be happier if he has more foo-riends. Yes, friends, waiting for his arrival."

"At least the whispers will stop... Hopefully..."

I really like your presentation. How is it going so far?

And I wonder whether you really need so many value generators (Zola, Barista Lynchen, Expired Merchant, Soulwarden)- wouldn't a few more small minions win the early game, and feed the Eye better? And what Budget replacements would you suggest for Vek'lor, Brann and Barista Lynchen?

Tbh I created the deck because of the Expired Merchant interaction with C'Thun, but I didn't play a lot of games with it because currently I'm trying out Shudderwock decks. This was more of an idea to save and refine later.

Zola is usually necessary because she can copy cultists, Loatheb, Riftcleaver or even Godfrey and Vek'lor

In the games I played I found Barista to really be unnecessary value, and Spirit Bomb also hasn't shown itself so great versus aggro.
I'll remove 1x Spirit Bomb and Barista and add 2x Crystallizers for early game.

Expired Merchant is great against control decks. Having 3 C'Thuns with Taunt helps piercing Druid and Warrior Armor.
But even if you don't have the Eye in your hand, you can copy Godfrey or Riftcleaver for control, Vek'lor for Taunts or even Soulwarden for infinite Soulwardens!

Speaking of which, Soulwarden can give you more copies of the Merchant's card, but honestly, it's the meme card of the deck and you can replace it with any card you want. Maybe a second Defile would be a good idea.

Again, since I didn't play this enough, I can't be certain, but I think Khartut Defender can fill Vek'lor's slot since they are both Taunts and Khartut even heals you. Brann is important because he can double the buffs on C'Thun, but his main interactions are with Zola and Vek'lor, so if you replace Vek'lor with Khartut, you can replace Brann with another Khartut or a cheaper Taunt like Vulgar Homunculus.

Hope this helped. If you're planning to play this deck, please leave some feedback on how it went!
