Package Runner might make a surprise appearance in some WL decks, i think.
It is a surprise -again- that no rogue cards at the tops of the community compendium. Rogue quest will surprise most it seems.
All of the rogue decks are running Maestra of the Masquerade, so they are disguised to look like other decks.
I have a feeling it will, once it gets in the hands of some crafty deck builders I feel that those gizmos are gonna cause a lot of rage. Only a few vids have I seen where they attempt to utilize the Rogue's ability to copy and return Scabbs to their hand and get more gizmos which will allow them to control the board and enemy's hand a lot more often.
We're usually wacky, but this is the weirdest round of predictions I've seen yet.
Cowardly Grunt is one of the lowest-rated cards? Provoke is only at 67? Shadowcloth Needle and Celestial Ink Set aren't top tier cards? Granite Forgeborn, the highest rated Shaman card? Composting, only 64? Find the Imposter not in the top five quests?
I do agree with our analysis of the Tradeable cards, though. The keyword itself seems so powerful! (The opposite of Caravans, heh.) It's hard to imagine that they won't see play.
It's not like we have a good track record to keep up with - we are usually pretty out of wack - consistent compendium, I'd say ^^
I don't think Celestial Ink is a very strong card. The discount isn't insignificant by any means, but it is too much effort for too little gain. Most mage decks prefer to play a higher number of lower cost spells, and very few mages decks would opt to play a card of such low impact. The Imprisoned Satyr in druid (I don't remember the card's name) didn't see much play aside from a few niche OTKs, and I don't expect the Ink to see much more play than that.
In those niche decks, though, I think it'll be a very powerful card. Perhaps not in Standard, but Big Spell Mage has a few more fun tools in Wild, and this fits right in. Plus, unlike Satyr, you get the discount for doing something you'd be doing anyway.
Also, this is gonna be a fine fit in my 'fill the deck with 50 Scrolls of Wonder' Mage, haha. That deck's definitely getting posted here once I test it out!
Yeah I agree. I was surprised to see Granite Forgeborn and Bolnor Hammerbeak among the top ten cards, and expected Alliance Bannerman to be much higher.
I’m a little surprised by how low rated Impatient Shopkeep is. It’s not great by any means, but I feel like the flexibility of being Tradeable alone should put it higher than it’s 27 rating. I guess it comes down to just having better 3 drop options, taking this hasty store owner out of contention in most builds.
Yeah i can see the shopkeep in a handbuff paladin deck.
I think people are looking more into the fact that its a 3/3 rush for 3. Its probably the worst of all the tradeable cards, but tradeable being itself a broken keyword it might end up surprising everyone by being played in an actual competitive deck at some point.
