Wield the powers of Warcraft icons from past, future, and alternate timelines! These storied heroes are so powerful, they bring extra Legendary cards with them that automatically slot into your deck. A Fabled Legendary arrives for every class, pulled from timelines both known and never seen before.

What is Fabled?

Fabled is a keyword added in the Across the Timeways expansion released in 2025. Each class in Across the Timeways was provided with a single Legendary card with the Fabled keyword which when put into your deck, adds additional legendary cards to your deck which are referenced in some way by the card.

Playing Against Fabled in Hearthstone

There is not one singular way to play against this keyword as each card making use of it has different ways to deal with it. Below we have tips for each of the different cards that exist from the Across the Timeways expansion and how to defeat their Fabled Legendary.

Talanji of the Graves - Death Knight

Talanji of the Graves is the Fabled Legendary for Death Knights. Upon your opponent playing Talanji, Bwonsamdi will be drawn into their hand and they will get to choose one of three boons to give to him.

• Boon of Longevity
• Boon of Power 
• Boon of Speed

None of these boons are particularly fun to deal with. The easiest way to get away from Bwonsamdi's doom is to have cards available that are able to remove him from the board. This could be large attack minions to instantly take out his health down to 0, or use spells to instantly kill him.

The longer the game goes on, however, the more painful it is to deal with Bwonsamdi as Talanji, each time she is played, adds an additional permanent boon, which then also applies to the minions he summons.
