Wow! This will be very helpful in my wild OTK Miracle Priest! I'm not going to add it to the deck but Lyra the Sunshard and Renew can both give me a copy and i have many good targets for a Copy + Protection buff like this. Quest Paladin (both) also highly appreciates this. Easy 5/5 for me.
Cards like Goody Two-Shields and this one make me excited for a midrange Paladin deck. The former can probably see play in aggro decks because it's just a good card, but I think this one costs a bit too much to be in aggro.
Also, sad Vivid Nightmare noises.

I think this can fit in a Lady Liadrin Libram deck quite nicely. Currently I try and save her for a long as possible. But perhaps with this card, maybe I can drop her down with only 3 or 4 wisdom's in the pool, since I can play those and copy them with this. Or use Gift of Luminance earlier just to start getting 2 librams back sooner. Nice way to multiply your wisdom output at any point in the game. From a current pure paladin perspective, I'm excited for this.
Is there ever a reason you may cast this on an opponents minion? Like if they have a board of just one convincing infiltrator?
There are possible interesting plays like that, for sure! Copying some prime from the opponent, is also viable, I guess!
If they had one Convincing Infiltrator why would you want to give them 2? The only circumstances I can see where you'd want to cast this on an opponent's minion are Unlicensed Apothecary, Venture Co. Mercenary, some jank Wrathguard combo or to heal yourself with cards like Corrupted Healbot and Hench-Clan Shadequill. So there's a few, but nobody plays these cards.
EDIT: I didn't know that playing cards that summon copies on your opponent's minions summoned them on your side of the board.
Spells always create a copy on your side. When I'm in a Priest mirror, I'll sometimes cast Psyche Split on important minions like Convincing Infiltrator or Reliquary of Souls, because stats are meaningless in that matchup, and it's more about what your minions do. Plus, I've used it to put Skeletal Dragons in SW:D range and summon my own copy.
I would assume no matter who's minion you use it on, the 1/1 copy is summoned on your own side of the board.. I am definitely open to being wrong, that's just how I read it.
Oh, well in that case I misunderstood. I didn't know that's how these types of cards worked.
I believe you are right, judging by other cards with similar effect that are already in play.
Not exactly sure how paladins could use it, but priests would love this...
You can copy all the buffs inside the minions, like librams and other spells, copy the prime murloc or a reborn minion, copy other deathrattle minion, copy a murloc warleader... As for wild, there are even more options.
Well reborn and deathrattle is kinda obvious but most are underwhelming... Multiplying librams well maybe but then divine shield is a weird fit (you want 1/1 to die) so yeah i am not saying that paladin can't use it, just spell doesn't have too natural of a fit.. unlike priest which has a perfect target in Convincing Infiltrator or any minion you cast a Grave Rune on

I appreciate the nuance here - it's a great card for both classes. Agreed - happier for paladin though.
Pushing aggro for paladin and rez for priest.
